Wood Shift Knob

What do you guys think about the wood AT shift knob from TL/MDX ?
Looks weird in the TSX ?

Also, I wonder if it is possible to swap ALL the chrome trim pieces in the Ebony interior
to wooden trim found in Parchment interior.

Oh how I wished wood trim was available for Ebony

Is that you, moreace?

Just kidding.... Old-timer joke. It might look good if your interior has other plood (either parchment interior or by swapping it out like you suggest, but don't do it with silver trim.

Yeah. I'm saying IF you do that, then the wood shift knob might look good. If you don't, it will look bad.

i'm sure its possible. I think i recall someone on the board doing this. He found someone on here who wanted his aliminum peices and they swapped.

This is xactly what I have in mind - provided it's possible.

I almost went for the parchment just for the wood trim.
Glad the sales guy stopped me and suggested CG/Ebony.

Crap....
Just go here.

That's what I was trying to say before. Don't do it unless you get the whole wood trim swap.

I think a wood shift knob would be even :ghey:-er on a 6MT.

There are also aftermarket veneer wood applique's for the TSX, which can simply be laminated on top of the corresponding fake titanium. Frankly, I preferred the fake titanium look over the fake wood look, but both demostrate that beauty is just skin-deep..... Really though, I think part of the understated quality of the TSX interior is based on their avoidance of tricking it out to look like a Winnebago; I went with the "titanium" interior choices as a result.
