I know that we should use non-metallic tint, but are there any particular brands that any of you have that you reccomend? If possible, pics would be great.

 

I have Medicco Onyx on mine @35%

It's a lifetime warranty.

I have a SSM with Ebony interior...

Llumar Tint - Llumastar 35%

Many brands and colors.

3M, Madicco, Llumar, etc... I prefer to lay Madicco!

You can get them with a Smoke tint, Bronzish, Greenish, Blueish, etc. they are all dark smoke but have a slight color to them to match up with certain colors.

You can even do a double layered color tint with a bright green, blue, red, etc. with a layer of silver behind it to make it look green metallic etc.

For those of you with illegal tints...how do you pass inspection?? i just got 35% on mine (NC legal limit). i'm pretty pleased with it

 

There are certain places that are less lenient than others.
Here in Ga, there are no annual inspections. So... it's easier to get away with it in Ga. Now on the other hand, if cops pull you over for tint because they have nothing else better to do... you are SOL.

 

Actually 32% is the legal limit in NC

 

 

I looked at a couple of other tints but this one was the best for the SSM.

I don't think I would go lower than 35% on SSM.

 

Very nice tint I just ordered the mole skins, so as soon as they come in I'll get the tint done. I ordered the mole skins because of all the threads about the scratching. I don't want to take the chance. I also have the SSM and your tint looks great!!
