what's the reason for them dropping off type S, and why RSX still came up with a type S? If there's a A-spec, is just the outlook looks different or engines will have increase in hp like the type S for RSX?

I think what he's asking is whether or not there will be a higher performance version of the TSX...
And as already answered....probably not.
Even though there is more potential in the TSX due to its larger displacement, it wouldn't happen until the sales begin to fall off.
The RSX had the option of the Type S probably due to the the Integra having the Type R which sold very well.
Additionally, the RSX being Civic based, had the same engine from the new Civic Si which wasn't selling as well as the previous generation due to it's funny shape. So wrapping the Si's engine in the new RSX body would help sales. The type S, which was the current marketing term for Acuras performance line was then incorporated into the RSX line as well.
The Type S has the same 16 valve cylinder head as our TSX, on our higher displacement K series CRV/Accord block. so as far as the current Honda parts bin is concerned ,we've pretty much already got the go fast parts that are available on the TSX.
Using whats available for drivetrains and wrapping it in new sheet metal is how car companies make money.

Thanks a lot toddstuh! Now at least I have an idea not expecting any of the higher performance engine from the TSX line. But some how I got disappointed since there's a Eruo-race version of accord with about 220hp in Japan. I thought it would probably came over here and badged with type S. Since I have experienced after I got a GSR and later there came out a Type R. It really pissed me off. Anyways, I really don't care there's a A-spec or something like that if that's just a body outlook difference but with the same performance.

Acuras A spec is more show than go. They have something similar for the RSX. Makes it handle a bit better but thats it.
220 hp isnt too far away from the approx 210 in which the TSX has already dynoed at temple of vtec. Intake , header and exhaust will fairly easily get you the 10+ additional HP to reach 220hp. Hondas headers aren't too bad, a good intake and a free flowing exhaust and catalytic converters would probably do it.
