Wierd HID Problem

Wierd HID Problem
i just bought a 8000k DS2 bulb off ebay and i instilled it today then i turned it on and it makes a wierd humming sound any idea what it can be?

humming..? i dont think that's normal, if it is, my lights are messed up because i dont get humming. I dont think i do. and...you want to post pics of 8000k?

"a wierd humming sound" is normal for HID, when you turn them on.
it makes the sound for 1.5~2 seconds, as the light glows from green -> blue -> light blue (in 8000 HID case).
don't worry about it.

that's what HID do... they SHINE and go "HUMMING" . . . . (my fog light does that.. , my sister's camry's HID do that as well)

perfectly normal. when i unlock the car in the garage and the lights go on you can hear them hum.

hum is normal. if you turn on the lights only and listen ..you will hear it ...
