In terms of laws, since I have no front license plate and tinted windows all the way around, will I or can I be pulled over in other states that don't allow for that?

We arrived home last night from a 6,652 mile roadtrip-NC to Ca-covering 21 states. We had our 06 tsx serviced before we started our trip and then stopped at Sharp Honda in Topeka, Ks to get the oil changed again. Our biggest expense was gas $790.65. Now have almost 51,000 miles on our 18 month old tsx.

Me and my friend are planning a real lengthy road trip for next summer. This summer was pretty much out of the question. Gas money alone is $$$$$$$$$

I was forced to stay at 65-70 on a recent portion of a trip and my MID kept creeping up to 34.5! I was amazed bc I'd never seen it over 33 and that was only after just getting gas. As soon as I was able to go over 75 mph, it started to go down again.

Yeah, the MID has really changed the way I drive too. Recently I went on a business trip and I let my significant other drive my car for a day. MID was at 25.0 when I parked it last. When I drove it the day after, the MID was at 22.3! I'm pretty sure it was driven more or less the same route that I would have taken it on that day had I been around which is only about 35 miles. I actually challenged myself to get it back up. But I only had a 1/4 tank of gas to work with so I only got back to 23.5 which is where I am now and I do need a fill up. I also need a

i got back from my trip last friday, the tsx was an awesome highway cruiser, very comfortable and quiet for 4 people. Took us 14.5 hrs from san francisco to vancouver and 15.5 hrs from vancouver to San Francisco.i averaged 32mpg with 4 people, full trunk, going 70-90 the entire way. mostly around 80mph. 34mpg or 460miles(13.5 gallon fill up) on that tank was my best. could have gotten in the 500 mile club but didnt want to push it. Total miles driven was about 2100.

ABQ to Van Horn, TX - Furneral (May)
ABQ to Den - Check out Rockies game, they beat the Mets (May)
ABQ to Phx - Regional track meet for my son in July
ABQ to Pagosa Springs, CO - Hit the hot springs during Labor Day weekend
The speed limit is either 75 or 80 mph and i usually get 31-33 mpg at 80 mph. I can cruise 425-450 miles before I need to fill up. The MID tells me 500-520 miles before empty, I don't want to test this out in the middle of no where.
I am so glad I decided to go for the TSX instead of the TL 2 years ago. The TSX is great as a hwy cruiser and it has a great balance of power and economy.
I wish Acura had cooled seats like other luxury brands. It gets mighty hot on the back side cruising in the southwest.

Since my beater ('99 Civic) was stolen I try to borrow my parents car as much as possible for roadtrips. I should really invest in a clear bra so I don't have to worry about rockchips...

Just did a trip from Sunny Isles Beach to Key West, Florida and back. Total miles were 430. And for the first time ever my MID and fueleconomy.gov matched perfectly!!!
I got 30.8 miles per gallon in my 2008 5AT. I averaged about 72 mph, with several stretches of 40-50 mph and a few bursts of 90-95 mph. This also included about 15% city driving. This was also the first long drive after my first oil change.

If I'm lucky, I won't drive anywhere far over the summer. It's expensive!
