When tinting, did you remove the window decals?

I just bought an '05 SSM (getting the lingo down) and am getting my windows tinted (with moleskins) next week and I'm wondering if I should remove the decals on my windows that say Acura Care and Anti-theft radio before I tint. What have you done? Thanks!

You can do it yourself, The Tinters will remove it for you anyways if you left them on the windows.

I think it would bubble around if they didn't take those decals off. The tint would be raised over the edges of the stickers and wouldn't stay very long. They have to do this in order to give you a lifetime bubble/peeling warranty.

My shop took them off, and then took the time to put it back on right after.

It will look cleaner, won't "bubble" the tint and besides, what makes you think the boneheads that want to break into your car can read???

no i wasn't. it would have raised edges around the border but i would have been ok with that. i doubt tinting on top of it would have caused it to "bubble" if it was done right.

It would've taken twice as long for them to do it and it would've looked like shit.
