I am also looking to buy a TSX and I always run the VIN # with carfax. It might help you in lowering the price of the car too!

I have all the service done on my 06 tsx at a acura dealer that I think is excellent. They fill out my maintenance book and stamp it each time. The last time I had my car serviced they showed me the carfax and told me they do not give out any info to them. I therefore would not rely on carfax

I tried to do that with my car the last time I went in for a service visit and the advisor said that unless I had the first/last name of the previous owner, there was "no way I could pull it up in our system."

Huh? The dealer reports their service information to CarFax as well (came across records for other TSXs that show services done at this particular dealer) so I'm not sure why he can't pull it up?

It's not a huge deal to me, but it did kind of make me scratch my head... And has me thinking I should maybe call a Honda dealer and have them look it up.
