Hey guys,

I need some input from anyone who has swapped their navigation DVD drive in their car for a newer model. I have a 2005 w/Nav and changed the drive to one from an 08. Everything functions fine except now the voice control doesn't seem to work. When I push the talk button the system mutes and then beeps like normal but the microphone is not picking up anything? I went into the advanced diagnostic menu and the microphone is simply not working. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Probably because the 05 Nav headunit isn't compatible with the 08 Drive.

At least you got most the functions to work.


One of our TSX members did a drive swap with an Accord's navi drive, and some functions worked, and some didn't.
