What the hell is wrong with people

I am a member of CSI and they were discussing the TSX and you wouldnt belive how many ignorant people are on that board, all you hear is - 30 k for a fwd 200hp car is gay- the STI and EVO are far better deals- If you can get a TSX then you should have bought a TL or a Legacy Gt, blah blah blah , I cant stand stupid people

I think a good way to judge a car is to show or ask a non car ethusiast what they think of it. We saw an STi on the road the other day and I showed my wife. Told her is cost $50K CAD. was her reaction "People pay 50K for that" Yup. She has no idea of its performace, all she knows is that is looks :ghey: So like drchaos said, do they want to win a drag race or get laid?

We saw an STi as well in a mall parking lot last night, my wife was like "what's with those headlights? Is that a Neon??" 'nuff said.

Your a dumbass, have you ever bought a car, thats like saying instead of buy a civic just buy an accord the difference between the TSX and TL when its all said and done is about 7k so on a 30 k car thats almost 25% more. As for the TSX I own a 2004 with nav and I love the car, I admit I wish it had a little bit more power but that can be easily fixed with the addition of an intake, exhaust and HONDATA when it comes out. The interior is by far the best interior in its class and the standard equip. list is better then anything near that price. Ontop of all that lower it a little add the oem lip kit and some rims and you have a dead sexy car.
Anyone here?

I'm not going to call you a liar, but the last comparison test C&D did with a Legacy was back in 2003 before the redesign.

Every girl/woman I know more then by first name has talked highly about my ABP TSX then any other car I've had. Between the color, the some what aggressive lines, a "cool" looking interior and "oh, its a standard". I don't think any TSX owner buys this cars because they are fast in a straight line or going to own all other cars on the track. It is a tremendous value in todays market, its a nice balance of everything at a real world(cheap?) price.

The sti is soo not a good purchase now that we can get a nice SRT-4 for close to $20K. For a little more money you can get almost 400HP using aftermarket parts... The car will go from 0-60 in 5 engines ...

If cars were only judged on HP/$$$ we'd all get a Yamaha R1...

Why value the opinions of ignorant ricers anyway. In a few years, they will be the ones asking us for jobs so that they can buy their first luxury sedans.

Totally true!!! though i've never done crack, so who am i to compare?!?

I've joined the day I picked up my TSX (Feb 16 05), and my post counts each day have been increasing like crazy... I try to cool it but just can't!

But at least I love my TSX and love Acura (= Honda), so I do belong!

Not only do you become a junkie but a side effect is that you want to mod your Acura. I didn't need new speakers and a rear sway bar until I started reading posts here.

Do it! Do it! Do it!
jlukja, the next time you're back at home and I'm working overtime in the area, feel free to PM. I'll let you drive my car and see what the difference is with a sway bar. And we'll really drive it.
