A keyed f*cking car. The hood, front fender and passenger door all have nice deep scratches in it now. Definately bitching to get put in front of line for a garage at my apt complex.

That sucks. I feel your pain. I had my car stolen from my apartment complex, and when I got my TSX, they put me at the top of the list for a garage, and I actually got it the same day I picked up my TSX; worked out well... Still sucked though!

People are idiots. Why mess with someones car? If you find out who it was, kill him/her.

Mine's only 3 months old as well, so yes I would consider it new. I know it was done deliberately because the scratches are pretty deep. Hopefully, I won't need to have whole panels repainted.

Does anyone know if acura actually does painting or do they have an outside organization do it? If they do, I want them to address the service bulletins and maybe the recall even though I haven't received any info on it yet.

Also...the black for honda is the same as NBP for acura right? I was informed that a local honda dealership in the area does a great job with painting.

All they need is the paint code on the inside driver's door.

Sorry to hear it slo. I don't believe in the death penalty, except for keying

My god does that suck. John Trovolta in pulp fiction stated it the best: "A man should know better than to touch another man's car".

Sorry to hear about your car man. The person responsible for the damage should receive multiple kicks to the nads.

I'm almost positive that the Acura dealership doesn't. But I know that a local honda dealership does. they're even in the yellow pages for collision and paint. Plus someone at work told me that their insurance company (same as mine) suggested them.

Dude, that royally sucks.

My car got door dinged 7 days after I bought it, so I sorta know how you feel.

Best of luck on getting everything repaired.

Oh, and since you're in NY, maybe you can leak some news that the person who keyed your car was also the same person who keyed some mafia boss's car.

Then watch that person end up with concrete shoes or something.

(Yeah, yeah, I know, too much TV, not enough reality - so sue me. )

Take it to an Acura approved body shop - not all Acura body shops are Acura approved so be sure and ask to see accredidation.

Damn thats fucked up. I would wait to get it fixed until you get the garage. Unless you cant get it done before then anyway. Things like this would make me want to hide in the bushes somewhere with a baseball bat hoping they would come back...

I probably won't get it back until I get the garage anyway. I went to get an estimate...$770.74 from an Acura approved garage. The gargage told me that I wouldn't need to have an adjuster come out, but my insurance company just called me and said they were going to send one out. Oh well

took the pics with a Fuji E500 4MP camera

Thanks for the support guys!

Car being keyed or stolen is haunting my sleep everynight too. My apartment doesn't have garage. It just has a parking space for me. Anyone know how bad it is in west LA area?

You know somebody that doesnt have enough respect for another person's property to have the nerve to do that needs to be

I mean seriously, what kind of lame ass fucktard are you getting off knowing you are going to cause somebody money, pain and annoyance.

I mean okay, its one thing if your girlfriend catches you fucking her best friend and keys CHEATER on your hood..

But just fucking with somebodies shit for no reason?

I made a jpeg just for you...

People can be bitter little bitches... You buy yourself a nice car and they decide that they are gonna f' it up cuz they don't have one. I feel your pain. My car got egged once (yea, its lame I know) while I was in it (!!) and I chased that fucker down w/ my car. What an idiot. He fell down and cried like a little bitch. Yeah, he cried. I wanted to beat on him and he cries. Wtf?

This second time I caught this pathetic couple pushing a shopping cart into my dad's mercedes for fun and laughing about it. I went up to them and threatened them and freaked their grandma out and she looked like she was gonna pass out. Dude, again, I don't look that mean. I am a freakin' Asian Electrical Engineer. Wtf? Can't even get any satisfaction/payback. They lucked out cuz German paint is think as hell and can withstand alot of abuse (like a shopping cart getting pushed into it).

In both cases I was too nice to actually do any harm to these guys which makes them even worse cuz I am not a bad guy. I would never do any of the shit they did to me and when I caught them I still didn't do anything (except scare them or their family...haha).

Btw, you guys should have a low "comprehensive" deductible (like $100) for the first year at least. Covers keying and other vandalism + theft. Door dings aren't covered though, those are considered "collision" and a low deductible is usually alot more $$$.

I just got a check from my insurance company for a whopping 210.00. Let's see....claims adjuster never came to see the car. Got an estimate for 770.74 from a certified repair shop. 770.74-500 = 270.74 right. Oh and supposedly I have $150 in deductible savings for renewing with my insurance company for the past 3 years, but the adjuster who never came out forgot that part. So 770.74-350 = 420.74. Too bad I have to wait until Monday to bitch at the adjuster. Then I'll have to talk to a buddy at work who used to work for the insurance company so I can get some important numbers to get this resolved. Maybe I can bitch to get it all payed for.

This will be me when I see the adjuster
