first of all, i know i should look in the warranty manual but it's in the car which is at home, and i'm not at home right now. so i would definitely appreciate any help.

this morning, i noticed that underneath the bumper, the little grill/cover that covers up where the foglights would be is missing. it's the one on the passenger side. i remember driving last night and running over something, which i didn't see. i heard a loud "click!" noise. i pulled over on the highway to see if there was any damage. obviously i didn't check that area where that coverpiece is.

so to replace that piece, would that be under the standard warranty? like can i just drive back to the dealer and get them to put in a new one for free?

also, it's 2005 tsx, which i've had for about 4 weeks, with the standard 4 yr/50,000 miles.

If the plastic part is missing, then it won't cover under warranty. You have to purchase that part. It happen to me before (not the TSX). Hope this helps.

I think every Honda's plastic under the car comes off. I lost mine on my Accord. My friend lost his on his Civic. My sister soon on her Accord. Don't even bother as it'll come off again.

 

yea i hear what you're saying. thing is, it looks so bad because there's this huge hole on that one side of the bumper. i just ordered one from the link that i posted. hopefully it won't be too hard to put on.
