Perhaps I should have said that I want to install a "rally computer".

Besides, you should see the route I take to the grocery store!!;-)
I have my Pioneer N1 hooked up to the VSS wire. Let me dig up the thread with the info.
Do you have navi or non-navi?
The non-navi version does not have this wire, so you'll have to insert it into the harness yourself.
Edit: Here you go.

What connector is that and where is it located?
Thanks.
NJIT, eh? What major?
Actually, I didn't use a pin. What I did was just strip the wire, then insert it into the harness. Then I put silicone on the outside to seal the gap and make the wire stick to the harness.
When you're looking at the ECU from the passenger side, I believe that it was the harness on the far right. Just take a look at the pin layout pictured in the thread I linked you to. Make sure that everything lines up.
I'm a computer science major, that's not my website though.

Don't use your VSP signal, with a 2WD rally car you have the luxury of two non-drive wheels that can hold distance pretty acurately. VSP signal comes off the transmission... it won't account for wheel spin and you'll have artificially high distances. If you use your rear ABS sensor, you get the waveform your computer needs and its dead nuts acurate.
Who am I kidding... you guys aren't hitting the gravel in TSX's are you!?
If wheel spin isn't an issue the VSP signal should do, but you have to grab it before it gets to the engine ECU... after that its in the CAN bus and you can't get it unless you have a CAN analyser... which isn't cheap... or worth it just for VSP.
