all i did was let go of the break and rolled into the space but this car is slightly larger than my last and didnt estimated the space right and hit the side of the bumper and part of it came out from under the head light, but luckily i was able to flex it back under it. I heard on the 05 they are making the bumpers a little better.

I remember on some NBC news show awhile back (with Stone Philips?) that Consumer Reports were crash testing various cars at 5mp. The TSX initially sustained over $1k worth of damage on its rear bumper. Somehow the TSX was retested and suprisingly, no damage occurred. CR subsequently found in the retested TSX a small piece of styrofoam hidden on the inside of the bumper. Per the show, Acura denied any wrongdoings.

Did anyone see this segment? I would conjecture that perhaps it is true that the rear bumpers on the 04 TSX needs to be redesigned! Hopefully on the 05s, for safety's sake.

I saw it but didnt really understand it. Basically said that the TSX bumper cost the least to fix but it was because of the styrofoam and that was cheating, but it the styrofoam make the repairs cheaper, then who cares???
