I apologize for my PWing, but there will be more pics to come hopefully within a month. I was planning on getting the Eibach Pro-System Kit, but its been pushed back by Eibach until the end of May. I want my car lowered before that so I'm contemplating the following:

1. Eibach Pro Kit with stock shocks until Eibach comes out with the TSX Dampeners
2. Eibach Pro Kit with Koni Yellows
3. A-Spec

I've been checking out my stock wheel gap and it doesn't look like there's a ridiculous gap like I've seen on other TSXs. What do you guys think? I'm thinking that the 1" A-Spec drop would be perfect...maybe they accidentally gave me the A-Spec suspension, LOL

Yep, I just checked them out, LOL.

Don't you think my rear wheel gap looks just like yours...maybe just a tiny bit bigger?

Here's yours:

DAmn I thought the A-spec was a very mild drop from the looks and it looks alot lower than an inch. BTW is that the rear, how about his back?

This is the rear, but if you look at my wheel gap, that's stock. I'm thinking that if I lowered it another 1" it would be close to no wheel gap.

That's funny. I've been debating the A-Spec, but I don't think the stock wheel gap is all that bad.

We'll see... probably still do it.

That's weird VB. Your gap does look close to the same as Zasker's in that pic. If you put a ruler up to your gap.

How many inches is it? Let me know and I will go and measure mine to see if it's the same.

The front was about 2.5" and the rear was about 1.75-2"

Maybe I should go with the staggered drop like the Eibach Pro Kit (1.6F+1.4R) instead of the 1" all around of the A-Spec.

No engine stuff for me until next summer. I want to keep the stock quietness for a year before I make some of the exhaust bolt ons. I'll most likely be getting the Injen CAI and Greddy Evo2 next summer.

IMO, I also think its too early to put on the engine mods. Not necessarily because its a new car and it would "hurt" the engine, but that if I did put them on, it would make the breakin period absolutely painful. I also want to take it easy on my car for the first year before I start rippin' into it.

Nothing but my stock carpets. That's why this is kinda weird. No worries though, I backed out on waiting for the Eibach Pro-System Kit and decided the A-Spec was not for me. I just picked up some new Neuspeed Koni Yellows this morning and now I'm looking to find a good place to buy the Neuspeed Sport Springs 1.5F+1R.

Maybe you could start some new threads whenever you buy something interesting because this thread is all over the place.

More people are likely to participate in a theme-specific thread.

True true. That brings me to a question. Why can we not edit our main post? That way I could just keep updating my first post with new pics?

You can only edit posts up to 15 minutes after you posted them. That's done on purpose so someone can't just go back in a conversation and change what they said.

I can understand it to a point, but maybe the original post should have editable access while other posts don't. That's just my

Marakbai - Thanks for the warm welcome, though I've been PWing for a very long time now, LOL

So are we still going to PW in this giant thread? Or new thread be created for each area or mod on VB's ride?

Anyway, I have the measurement to my wheel well gaps...
Mine is bone stock suspension and everything for that matter.
Front is 2.75"
Rear is 2.25"
(I may also take some pix of them for some visual...)

So VB, yours are smaller gaps!!! unless our rulers are way off each others

Shall we make a new thread asking for wheel well gaps measurements? VB, you can do the honour

I thought so! For some reason I thought it was because the 2005s for some reason had less wheel gap from looking at a bunch of 2004 side shots, which had a huge wheel gap front and back. I took my pictures in the garage too so it wasn't unbalanced from the front or rear.

You can do the honors because I'm sure people are sick of me already, LOL
