Virtualbong's New TSX

March 1st, 2005 will be known as Virtualbong day! LOL.

Alright, so I finally brought my baby home. Just my luck, my digi cam was out of battery, so I wasn't able to take any daylight pics, but I'll include more pics this weekend after I install the OEM Kit. These aren't great images, but I promised that I would post a new thread the day I brought the TSX home. Enjoy!

Check back this weekend for more pics (daylight especially)

Grats dude! Glad you finally got her, it's been a long time coming. Looks awesome, and may it never snow again til next winter.

Shoot me a PM sometime if you want to come show it off and check out my exhaust and such. Otherwise I'll see you at the Boston meet in May.

Thanks man! I actually might hit you up this weekend if its nice out and if you're available. Maybe Sunday???

And LannyM, the modding starts this Friday night...OEM Kit baby!

Then Eibach Pro-System Kit in about 2-3 weeks. The Rear Ingalls Camber Kit should be coming in soon too. (I might hold off on installing the suspension kit until April though)

Well, I've saved up a lot of money in the past 1 1/2 years knowing that I was going to purchase a new car and since I started modding my Integra, I knew I was going to need to save some extra money just for mods. I have a gf too, but we're a 50/50 couple and we like to stay in alot too, if you know what I mean , LOL

You bet your ass I know about the Boston Meet, LOL. I planned on going way before I even ordered the TSX , LOL I should have a few mods by then too. I'll have the OEM Kit on and the Eibach Pro-System Kit installed as well.

Come on now...you've gotta get the tint right away, LOL.

Yeah, I'm going to go with the legal 35% all around. I think it'll look fine since I have the dark interior.

So, OEM Kit Friday night and then Tinting Saturday morning

Congrats Dude! I have the same colour with the OEM kit...you're gonna love it! I have about 3,800 miles on it now so it's broken in pretty good, I LOVE IT! Please let me know if you have the rattles though...I still have the rattles coming from, what I think, the B-Pillars when I'm driving on the freeway...so let me know...

I still have to tint my ride but haven't had time!! I want to do 35% on the sides but 20% on the rear with non-metallic...what kind of tint are you going to use...I can't wait to see your pics!!

BTW, Black on Black is the best colour for the TSX...I've seen others on the road and I'm so glad that I chose this combination...especially with the OEM kit, it looks badass...

I'm going to a professional Llumar Tinter. I told him that I have a nav system and he said that the Llumar will be fine. I trust him since he did an awesome job on my Integra and has done a lot of cars. To those in the Massachusetts area, I definitely recommend Eastern Glass Tinting

Savage - I'm not going to drive it until this Saturday. Surprisingly enough, the car wasn't really dirty driving it home from the dealership today. I can't wait to put on the OEM Kit and get the windows tinted though. I'm hoping that it'll be nice out Saturday so that I can get a nice little photoshoot on.

Thanks everyone! Man, I don't think I can wait until Friday to install the kit. I think I'm going to install it Thursday night, LOL.

Savage - We should definitely try to get a little photoshoot on if its nice this weekend. rmpage, would you be interested in a 3 car photoshoot? I'm located 20 minutes outside of Boston, but I don't mind driving somewhere in the Boston area to do the shoot.

Got rugby practice around 11, but I'll be around on the morning.

If not this weekend then the next maybe. Regardless, I'd like to see how the OEM bodykit looks since I'll be getting the A-spec suspension put in and I may get the bodykit with it if I like the looks of it.

Congrats!

I think 35% will be perfect for your car. And I agree that tinting is the first thing that you should do to your car. That was my first mod, or wait was it the Comptech rear sway? I don't remember.

Congratulations on the purchase...now you can be the guneau pig for me for tint...hehe .

I have almost made up my mind on mine for 15% but I would like to see others before I make a set decision for the % tint.

I've found that keeping the interior really clean helps a lot. I mean regular vacumming, wipe down all the surfaces with a mild window cleaner, and always completely clean up any mud or coffee/soda spills, no matter how small, even if its in the cupholder. Also the obvious, never smoke or let anyone else smoke in the car, and try not to eat and drink in it. My 02 RSX-S still smelled new when I traded it after having it for 2 years, and my TSX still smells 90% like the day I picked it up, and I've had it about 10 months.
