I put REAL wood in my TL, tell me what you think

Now, if the wood on the TSX were "deeper" and rich like this it would be very classy.

Let's see...the Arnage is available with Burr Walnut, Burr Oak, Dark Burr Walnut, Birds Eye Maple, Olive Ash, Vavona, Madrona, or Piano Black.
I personally love light, white-ish woods on black leather--makes for a very contemporary, airy feel. Vavona redwood, on the other hand, is very hard to resist. Try the configurator for youself to see the different woods and experiment with them on different interior colors: www.bentleyconfigurator.com
Wood is not simply just for decoration--it can make or break the feel of the cabin. Further, a different color of wood can make the cabin feel all-together different...from open and airy, to cozy and comfortable.

A plus about plood is that it looks like a single piece of wood. Real stuff you can see where two seperate pieces of veneer are brought together...

You're correct. The TL never came with real wood though the Vigors and Legends did. Thats my entire point, I got it made for me to match the stock look of the plood. Its a burlwood that is similar to the RL's.
You're correct again in your assumption of multiple pieces (for safety reason in a crash). However, I just got the one piece (expensive!) put in.
EDIT: My uncle made it for me as he has the tools for it (he makes furniture and saddles for fun, so I got the wood dash and 100% leather (not just the seating surfaces )

I actually think the 1st gen TL came with real wood. Wasn't it priced like $35,000 - it was the second gen TL that started with the plood, as the price was cut down to slightly below 30K, and that's when sales took off.
