Stripes & Decals
Stripes & Decals
OK, I know there are few of you out there who'd track & kill TSX-owner for doing this:
But I'm "toying" with the idea of putting "subtle" color stripe on the car...nothing loud...maybe on the
a dash of red on the OEM side skirts or something.....
Anyone know of any pics of TSX with stripes ?
CG/Ebony

Ok, I'm just know I'm going to get lambasted for this, but could someone please explain to me what exactly his so horrible about wanting your car to look unique and your own without basically swapping out the engine, drivetrain, and exhaust? I guess I'm just new to that whole scene so it doesn't make sense to me, but I don't see the point in tearing someone apart for wanting their car to look different without doing engine/drivetrain/exhaust work to it...
if your car is weird to start with then its ok.
And I would have to say Prodrive's TSX rivals Dazz's for being the ugliest TSX in existence. I wouldn't model my inspirations after those 2. But someday someone is going to have decals, so might as well be you.

God help us, someone already did:
Not sure what deal with the light next to the "Actify"decal is. It looks kinda...fake.
What the hell are those two holes where the liscence plate should be, btw? Does it make the TSX go supa fast?

Note the ginormous wing.

Seriously. They are sink drains that are usually purchased in the plumbing section of Home Depot or Lowes.
On cars with ductwork for cold air intakes fabricated for the front brakes, they give a more "finished" appearance. They can be painted matte black to match the grillwork, or, well, they can be left chromed! (Or, they are even available gold-plated!)

WTF they're doing in the TSX's license plate cove I haven't a clue. Is this car possibly set up for some bizarre Japanese race where they drive backwards????

It's your own perception of what is ugly or not. I go to plenty of shows where I think the cars look like shit (plenty of decals, underbody neons, gay spoilers), but they place 1st, maybe 2nd for their category. I like a car with a clean look, so I would say stay away from the decals.

I'm sure others can disagree, but 2 ways of doing something, 1 good and 1 bad.

yeah i know, i know, it ain't no helico. i don't have that kind of time so this was half-assed, just like everything else i do.
sleeper, who thinks stipes/designer decals would look pretty :ghey: (see previous post for further :ghey: reference).
