TSX is WSJ fast mover...

Not sure if you guys have seen this (probably have) but from the Wall Street Journal...

Model-Days on Lot-Average Price

Mercedes-Benz SL Class- 8 -$98,804
Toyota Sienna- 9 -$29,713
Honda Pilot 9 -$30,750
Nissan Quest- 12 -$29,540
Lexus RX330- 12 -$40,219
Acura MDZX- 13 -$38,924
Mini Cooper- 13 -$22,829
Honda CR-V- 14 -$21,241
Audi A8/S8*- 15 -$74,950 (*Small sample size)
Acura TSX- 15 -$27,661

Its pretty cool. I guess they are having no trouble selling the 15,000 units (I believe it was 15k wasn't it?)

Is this the time from arrival at the dealership until sale? Around here, there's no way the TSX sits on any lot for 15 days. It's a rare car that isn't sold before it comes in.

I'm not sure how they compute the #'s. In fact, my TSX came from the Columbus dealer. The Lexington, KY dealer couldn't get what I wanted, and luckily, the same day as I came in my SSM w/ ebony arrived in Columbus.

IME, some cars are sold before they come in (usually popular colors) while others sit for up to a week. But 15 days is unheard of in my area.

15 days is also unheard of in my area. The dealr closest to me has 2 cars on the showroom floor and a 2 month waiting list.

Most dealerships I've seen have only 2 or 3 TOTAL on the lot and one stays in the showroom, leaving two for a demo. One (if they're lucky) will have a NAV or a 6 speed (or both).

For the most part, they barely get to hold onto them. Most domestics sit around for over a month or two on AVERAGE.

But you gotta remember that we are the enthusiast crowd. We'll buy a lot of the TSX's, but nowhere near the majority of them.

Wasn't in SoCal that some dealership had 15 or something and was selling for below MSRP when most folks were lucky to pay MSRP?!?
