If it was up to me I'd take both cars instead of just picking one. I believe as someone stated earlier that each has its own strengths and weaknesses. Of course everyone is still entitled to their own opinion.

I think they're very comparable in many ways. I ended up with Honda Accord V6 EX coupe when I had to make the decision.

Power: I really liked the both cars. I really did wanted to get V6 vs. I4 as I was coming out of my old civic. I really loved the power of V6 Accord even from low RPM compared to TSX. It was so much better from low to top end driving the Accord. The sales guy let me take the slightly used one out by myself and that def. helped a lot. I pushed it as hard as I can or I would even do it in my own car. Accord 1 - TSX 0

Handling: There was no question to it. TSX had MUCH better handling compared to boat feeling accord v6 coupe. Stock to Stock, TSX wins every turn. I did end up getting TL wheels (17x8 vs 16x6.5 HUGE difference) and HFP suspension with H-tech springs. Now it actually handles better than stock TSX.
Accord 1 - TSX 1

Design: I won't compare as this really varies on a person. I do love the look of both. I think they did a great job with TSX as it looks sharp and sophiticated. I just loved the 2 door + OE bodykit on the accord. Plain accord doesn't look as appealing but with kit, it def. looks better. You be the judge.

Warranty: 3yr/36k vs. 4yr/50k. NO questions asked.
Accord 1 - TSX 2

Standard Option: Accord and TSX pretty much has same interior. Seats are same material. But TSX does come with HID and side blinder on mirror, small little things like prettier gauge.

Price: 27,900 vs 27,900 back in 2004. I bought the Accord at little over 23k+ dest. vs TSX at sticker with no dest. I saved over 4500 on the Accord on sticker. That's more than 5 points for me.

Accord 6 - TSX 3

I think it really comes down to your taste and needs. If TSX was selling as low as 23k, it would have been SOOO hard to choose. but V6 and 4500 was a no brainer. I spent part of savings on suspension and body kit.

Either way, I think you'll be happy with both cars. I just would wait since they're coming out with new models very soon.

heres my baby.

^^ Nice! What tranny did you get?

My friend bought his 2nd Accord Coupe V6 after totalling his first one. The similarities between our interiors is scary.. I'd say over 50% of the parts from his power windows, heated seats, etc are identical to mine.

Thats pretty sweet. I should have opted for a v6 coupe...would have saved my parents a bit of cash. Although the white doesn't come with the ebony interior like the TSX one. Great car though...my roomate has a 06' 4 cylinder coupe.

Thank you all for the kind comments on my car.

25600 is a great deal on the car for TSX. Back in 2004, they wouldn't even take a dollar off... maybe it was just southeast dealers?

overall, I don't think you can go wrong with either car.

About the interior, there are many similarities. There is SEMA version where they put WHOLE tsx dashboard in Accord...

Nah, I think it was in a lot of places. The TSX was hot when it came out and dealers weren't moving much on price.

The two times my roomate has been in my car...he was like...its like sitting in his car...he has an 06' coupe with the beige interior...

Although they are similar...the dash layout is different...I don't see anything that he sees similar except the steering wheel...hehehe

That sounds more feasible...I do like the accord interior. That's an interesting way to go about things. If I ever happen across a TSX shell I might consider doing an accord interior with recaro seats :-D
