Question, when it's in a rollover situation, are the airbags suppose to deploy? If so, then how come this car's airbags are intact? Did it roll down from a truck or something?

The insurance sells the cars... it's not like Allstate has a giant lot somewhere filled with 2,000,000 wrecked cars.

Forget about salvaging the car -- Anyone have any idea how much it might be worth for its parts?

(Not doing business, just wondering.)

I would guess between 10-15k depend on whats damaged (Can't tell 100% from the pics). The engine and tranny being most valuable.

the interior and engine bay look to be in good shape. looks like it just needs the frame to be pulled back into alignment and replace/fix all the panels. so hopefully just bodywork...if i was in the neighborhood i would go take a look and bring a mechanic/bodyshop dood to get an estimate

wat a waste tho

Hey, y'all -- We've got a neat quiz here for the taking:

WHAT'S THE FINAL HIGH BID GONNA BE?

I'll say $18,500.

For anyone interested: This item ends tomorrow A.M. (Sat. Oct. 4) at 10:18 PDT.

Bidding now at $8300.

But the most interesting thing is, the "reserve" price is shown! (I've never seen eBay show the reserve before).
It says the reserve has been lowered to $13,000.

P.S. I guess I was way high when I said $18,500 for the final price.

This would make for a great track car. If I bought it I'd strip the interior, bolt in some race buckets, weld in a roll cage, hammer out the dents and away I go. I probably wouldn't even bother to paint it because I'd be less woried if I got up and personal with a wall somewhere.

Why is the steering wheel turned and the front wheels straight? I'd stay far far away from this one. How could any buyer possibly know the true extent of the damage? There has to be at least $10-15K worth of damage there.

hmmmmm i live very close and know how to get there.
Im wondering if a car like this can be bought for parts??
And if after a few unsuccessful postings they would part with it for much cheaper than 13gs??

13 G's is way too much for that car. It has a salvage and repairing it could cost upwards of 10-15 grand.

It relisted, and I've bidded. Nothing like dropping that K24 into an RSX. Bidding went up though. I made it in for the serious players. I'm not screwing around with the $1000 bid.
