TSX Parts Diagrams

not sure if this is a repost or not...

this dealer posted the parts catalog online with pictures and the parts breakdown. helpful for the DIYs.

Thanks. Ever notice how some parts guys get real possessive about their parts display - like you need a security clearance to be able to see the screen? This sure helps.

am i right or?? it look like front pass also got have heater both on butt and back....

That is correct. The passenger seat only heats the bottom area.

that is strange, because the diagrams show the passanger shall get the heat core for lower back as well...

That does look odd. Could the passanger seat be heated at the far bottom (even though the manual say's it's not), or is the parts diagram wrong, or what? Who wants to take appart their passanagers seat to see what's there? (I don't)

not me for now.. it's getting cold and i am afraid i can't put it back then i am in big troubles. but i will ask dealer... perhaps there is wire but Acura did not connect it. why Acura need to "disable" it for side airbag? anyone knows>

yes, I read somewhere (manual maybe) that it's only the seat bottom that is heated because of the airbag sensor on the passengers seat to prevent it from going off if someone is sitting sideways or a child is in the front. Personally, I think they could have found a way to have the airbag sensor and a heated seat if they wanted to.
