TSX Parchment Interior

I am thinking of getting the Parchment Interior. Is it hard to keep clean? Does it stain easily?

Mine has 8,000 miles on it and it still looks brand new. No wera lines, stains, etc...

I use Zaino "Leather in a Bottle" and it even smells new!

No problems here. I love the "classic elegance" of the parchment.

I've got over 10,000 miles without any problems. Love that parchment!

Mine looks great after 600 miles.

The only thing I see is some black scuf marks on the trim peice by the door, which easily wipe away.

I washed my car for the the second time last weekend... the parchment is easy to clean and looks great with a decent leather cleaner/conditioner.

I love the "classic elegance" of the parchment.
Agree 100% - Looks awesome!

What did you use to get the scuff marks out? I have a couple on the bottom of the doors and the edge of the bottom of the seat.

I get a lot of "scuff" marks on the lower door panels and near the door sill. It's just dirt from shoes and comes off easily with any kind of cleaner or just a damp cloth.

No other problems.

I have a product from PRO Beauty called interior cleaner which works great. However, just about any type of mild cleaner will work.

Love my parchment interior. 5 months of ownership and still looks great. No stains, a few scuff marks which were fairly easy to wipe away. Definitely looks classy and elegant.

Well if it makes anyone feel better I have a 2000 Accord Coupe since new in March of '00. The interior is Ivory (Tan, light brown, parchment, etc.) My seats are even the horrid deluxe cloth, {leather 5spd coupes weren't going to be made until summer.}

In anycase, the interior still looks great to this day, 55,600mi on the clock right now I keep telling myself I'll get leather installed as soon as the cloth starts to show wear---damn you Honda and your awesome fabric! :P

However, since Nov 2001 my car is only used in the summer 6-months so that helps alot, my carpet would look like crap if it ever saw nasty Ohio road salt.

found it interesting when i was cleaning my ebony seats a while back....the cloth i was using turned blue. pretty sure it was from my dark blue jeans. but still.

not sure how it'll be for you other people....that is, if you wear dark colored pants and whether or not it gets that hot out.

on my old car the 99 Accord I had a heather mist/ tan cloth. there weren't really a lot of dirt, except on the floor, where there were black marks and on the driver seat, it looked like there was blotting, like there were sun dot marks on the seat itself, but i really didn't see any of those marks on the passenger seats at all. it's your call, but i bet those with tan interiors, if 4 other people ride with you often, you'll start seeing dirt.

i thought the classiest car combo color was the black with parchment interior?

We're Twins!!! That's a great combination and IMO looks very classy. I also opted for the for wood grain kit and it really ties things together nicely.

Congrats!

My babies 1 yr birthday is coming up, no regrets. The parchment leather looks great and the investment in the rubber all weather mats has ensured that the floor is tidy without making the interior look cheap. Now that summer is around the corner I can put my carpeted mats back in.
