My turn:

A beautiful 1995 Accord, that to this day my back is not 100% from the accident. It may not look like alot of damage, but the guy hit me so hard, that two interior panels popped out of place, my seat angle fell two notches, and he crushed the rear subframe of the car. The guy rear ended me as I was stopped in traffic, and I absorbed most of the impact, but still got pushed into a Mercedes ahead of me. The guy had no insurance, and didn't even reach for the brake as I heard no tires screeching as he came full force at me; his excuse... "sorry dude, I didn't find the brake". Totalled my car. The really sad part: I had this car for only a year and like three months and 4 months of it, it was getting a complete paint job, so really essentially I only got to drive this car for only 8 months. I really liked that car and was an excellent commuter car (not a fast and furious rocket, which so many people try to make it look as if it is). As much as I like the TSX, I would still prefer to drive that accord, it will take a while for my TSX to grow on me.

2000 Accord EX-V6. Great car, but I found it to be a tad boring. The TSX makes up for that nicely.

Before that, 1990 Toyota 4x4, totalled in a wreck.

I came from a 1996 BMW 318ti - loads of fun, but getting kinda old. I don't drive on back roads as much any more, so the bigger car with more luxo-options (but still fun to drive) was a better fit. This is my second Acura. My first was a 1988 Integra LS - most reliable car I ever owned (and a blast to drive).

I started with my dad's handme down 84 Pontiac 6000 STE, pretty neat car in its day, but it was 10 years old with 116,000 miles on it when I got it. I think I could run faster then the 2.8 HO V6 could move the car. I then bought a 89 Mustang GT, car hauled ass but spent most of its time (and my money) getting fixed. I then bought a 92 Sentra SE-R, loved it. I drove it for 5 years all thru school and then some. I sold it for a 99 SVT contour, then bought a 85 Dodge Ram as a getter and to pull the boat. Dodge blew up, so I sold them both for a 99 Jeep Grand V8 4x4. The comute to work was costing me an arm and a leg so I gave it to my wife and traded her 2000 Corolla (most boring car ever) in on the TSX. I would like to get another getter truck (93-95 F-150) and trade the Jeep in for a MDX.

Have also had:
92 Suzuki Katana 600
00 Honda CBR 600 F4 (stolen)
02 Yamaha FZ-1 (still have)

1997 A4

I'll miss the quattro, but I looked at 2004 A4's and overall the TSX is way more car for the money.

'04 VW Touareg V6

I miss it a little bit because of the AWD aspects of it, and the ability to go anywhere with it. It was very sluggish though.

I sold me 2003 Ford F-150 Supercew 4X4 to get my 2005 TSX... I am so glad to be rid of that gas hog truck. Plus I love my TSX. Now I just have my TSX and my 2005 Mercedes C230 Kompressor Coupe/Silver...

I love my rides!

Yeah, that course was a blast! We spent 2 weeks doing pursuit driving, EVOC, and vehicle stops. The pursuit driving was right out of the high performance driving handbook, and included learning about tire contact patch, weight transfer, late apex, trail braking, etc.

We had 350 cubic inch Chevy Caprices with Eagle GT tires to play with. The Caprices also had the foot pedal parking brakes with the locks removed for doing j-turns.

Fun!

Is first car had ever. Before, is had donkey cart, laden brightly with many cabbages to sell. Cart have spinner rims, donkey have coffee can tailpipe. All maidens in my village want ride in my cart. Many other men in village jealous of donkey, jealous of cart, spread rumors that only could purchase by selling contraband copies of American video. All people in village wish to own American video: "Shazam", "Glitter", "Mary-Kate and Ashley Die in Flaming Taxi-Wreck". But is not true. Only sell cabbages from cart. And small dogs for lunches.

TSX is much faster, but am planning to return car, for it has more rattles than donkey cart traveling on Gzakisykno Street past tavern where Zled ruined shoes. Am now hearing stories of Acura quality being very bad, according to leading US experts, who can detect sound of flea leg kicking dust particle. Is good fortune that TSX just "place-holder" until I purchase horse-cart RL with Super-All-Leg-Drive.

Is time to say farewell, as must cross bridge of Czar Chasm to meet Mr. Poqe-Phun.

1998 VW Jetta Wolfsburg: my first car, bought new, provided exceptional service during 4 years of college, 4 cross-country roadtrips, 2 years as the unofficial taxi of our overcrowded ski-bum residence in whistler, B.C., and 1 year as a pothole magnet in downtown montreal. all told, she was a versatile little number...part-snowmobile, part-dune buggy, part-music studio, part-seedy 1 hr. motel...RIP, Wolfgang.

that said, i'm loving the new hotness. 2004 silver tsx 6-speed, bought certified pre-owned in late january of this year with 19k miles. enjoy your rides, fellas!
