TSX owner in CO want free parts?

Hey all,
I work for Ingalls Engineering is Louisville, Colorado and we are trying to find a local TSX owner willing to lend us their car for a few daws later this week. I'd need the car Wednesday Evening/Thursday Morning through Friday afternoon so we can begin development of our TSX Engine Damper kit. The owner of said borrowed TSX will get a free final version of the damper for their partisipation. Our engine damper eliminates wheel hop, improves shift feel, and reduces engine movement. Link to Stiffy ETD information on our website
I'd like to thank the community in advance for any help or information we recieve.
Dan

ingalls makes a great product...I actually had one of your stiffy's on my supercharged tC. Only downfall was a bit of added cabin noise but that is rectifiable with the use of some dynamat

Does this affect the manufacturer warranty? I have an '06 and drive through Louisville every workday.

This will have no effect on warranty. Ingalls is a reputable company with fantastic products, I use their camber kit on my car. This is a great opportunity for someone to get free parts and be the first of many on the board to get this ETD.

It's been almost one year since the last time we tried. Perhaps someone will step up and make it happen this time. I wonder what happens to the other Ingalls rep Rob?

Rob left Ingalls to pursue other intrests (mainly skateboarding) and started his own company e-life skateboards. He is a great guy, we wish him the best.
It's been too long for this project, thats for sure. As far as manufacture's warranty is concerned, there is no issue. Our product doesn't affect how the engine or transmission works, therefore the manufacture cannot claim that our product increased wear in any way.
Gotham, let me know if you are interested in helping us out, again we'd need you to leave the car with us for a few days while we design the brackets. Then I'd need the car back in for a day about a month later for test fitment of the prototypes.
Thanks all,
Dan

Try living in Cincinnati, OH. It can get worse than KC.

Not really, the reduction in wheel hop and improvement in shifting will be more noticable in the 6-Speed cars. However, at this point we really just need to begin development of this kit. Like JTso pointed out, we have discussing development of a kit for the TSX for more than a year now.

HELLO ??? The man said FREE PARTS !! Can someone from the west coast step up for all of us TSX owners that have been waiting for a solution to wheel hop??!! Now we get all upset when they dont make parts for the TSX but when someone is trying to do so we sit back and hold up the wall. Do I have to drive all the way from the East coast!?? I have a shop here that will make the design like JTso's for 2 bones minus the damper but Id rather have a warranted mass produced part from Ingall's.

Haha no kidding. By road, Chicago to Denver is about the same distance as LA to Denver...and Seattle is a good 300 miles more than either of them.

Sounds like a cool product...hopefully someone in Colorado can step up to the plate.

For me the total est. distance: 1696.85 miles so 300-400 miles is nothing to me. Hell if I had more vacation I would take the trip to Colorado. Hopefully some brave soul will step up.........Do it for your country!! We need you

If someone is taking their car to Dan at Ingalls please post it so we can get all happy and party!!!

Still no update on this, I replied to Gotham and haven't heard back. I really would like to get going on this product offering, but without a car I'm stuck moving on to other applications. So, if any of you can honestly afford to be without the use of your car for one business day (8am-5pm, but I can drive you to and from our work to yours), please drop me a line or shoot me a phone call (303.665.7800 x23 or ask for Dan).
Thanks again guys.

I thought of a rental earlier, but no-one in Colorado rents Acura products. I even thought of taking my personal car in for service (a Subaru STi BTW) and asking the dealership for a used TSX loaner instead of the base Legacy they normally offer, but no luck there either.
Hrmm...it may come down to the 72 hour buyer remorse, but I'd hate stringing cars sale people along for a blatent scheme such as this.

I have a 04 6mt and just moved back to Denver, I live in Highlands Ranch and work in the DTC. We could probably work something out. Email me at globlctzn@gmail.com
