OK this is a spin off from all the fun we had at the Chigago-land / Schoamburg meet.

Some of us have got together looks like we may have a meet/picnic BBQ. With some runs of the cars on Deal's Gap.

I assume this is part of the Dragon Tail from US129?

Anyway:
Who would be interested?
What day? Saturday Oct-11th or Sunday Oct-12th ?

I would much rather the meet be on Sunday, this way I could bring my wife along.

Anyhow looks like Jason should be in the area.
Count MrChad in. I think Wiz is in the area, right?

So lets hear the boards thoughts. I think this would be a great end of summer get together. Should have some cool temps and all. Sounds like great driving weather to me.

I would be down for going...not sure if the g/f would be able to get the day off work on Monday to go...but Sunday would definitely be the better day for myself as well since I have Monday's off. I am in Georgia, and not sure how far Deal's Gap is...need to look it up and see how long it'll take me to get there.

Oh, and on another note, I crossed 10,000 miles last night.

I would love to go but it would have to be on the 11th for me. I have to be in High Point, NC for a sales meeting on Sunday. There is no way out of it and it's an all-day affair. So if the 11th count me in, if the 12th have fun fellas.

Deals Gap is the Shit count me in....I ride my motorcycle up there all the time....and its time to break in the TSX....Does anyone know were there staying yet....I think I will crash in Gatlinburg..

I probably won't stay overnight...we'll probably drive up that morning (whether it's Sat or Sun) and then drive back home that night...just something about sleeping in my own bed...soooooo much nicer...

I too would prefer an afternoon meet so that I have some drive time. I may stop in Cincy on Friday night and head on from there.

So were exactly would we all meet for this meet? Anyone in the area near the meet able to scope out a spot? What exactly would be the meet area?

October 8th is Wednesday...Saturday is the 11th...I don't see a problem in coming still, but with the way things have been going here at work, I might not be able to break away as I might be on call...we'll see.

I "might" still be able to make it. A lot of things have happened here at work lately and I am back to working the graveyard shift, Sunday morning through Thursday morning. That means I'd have to go to work at midnight on Saturday night, which would suck big time. I am also not sure what is going on this weekend with the woman, will have to check with her. If we can break away on Saturday (which should not be a problem) we will try to come. We were just up in Virginia this weekend though (she drove her Accord) visiting her family, so not sure if we're up for another road trip (and I can't take anymore vacation days until the holidays). We will see...
