Question TSX Meaning?

Does anyone know what the letters TSX stand for?
I understand BMW and Audi model names/numbers, but Acura isn't so logical.....or maybe it is, and I'm missing it.

I think its a cross between TL and RSX since its between those too.. so TL - L = T whereas RSX - R = SX. Therefore, T + SX=TSX haha sorry i was doin math homework just before this. but yea i'm not sure thats my guess

T - Touring
S - Sporty
X - Sexy

T - Touring
L - Luxury

R - Regal
L - Luxury

They really don't mean anything.

Contrary to popular belief, they do stand for something. For instance: TL: Touring Luxury RL: Refined Luxury NSX: New Sports eXperimental....I'm not making this up either. Just ask Justin to back me up.

The NSX started as NS-X (New-sportcar eXperimental) the company liked how NSX sounded so much they stuck with it. In concept form RS-X, TL-X, CL-X, MD-X, RD-X, NS-X. In production form RSX (Racing-sports eXperimental), TL (Touring Luxury), CL (Contemporary Luxury), RL (Refined Luxury), TSX ( Touring Sedan-eXperimental), MDX ( Multi-Dimension eXpermental ).

The L line is supposed to be the more refined of the two lines of cars. The X line being the racy versions. Now we have the FP (A-Spec) line to deal with too.

Touring Sedan eXperimental it is!

sounds good. i had a feeling it was the cross b.w the RSX and the TL because that was the design so i figured the name went along too. i never knew that there was acutal meaning behind this.

So using algebra or substitution:

TSX = Touring Sports eXperimental
