tsx fuel filter?

tsx fuel filter?

i was just looking over the maintenance and i don't
t see the fuel filter needing changing anywhere

what gives? does it not have one or something?

i dont know
when i do maintenance on my bmw it includes
air filter, fuel filter, cabin filter, plugs etc

i don't see fuel filter mentioned on the tsx so i'm confused

(Don't kill the messenger) Acura Dealership SA said the fuel filter will last the life of the car.

Yah, supposedly the fuel filter is supposed to be good for the life of the car.

I guess they assume we will all follow the owner's manual and use premium octane. Those who use lower octane might be asking for it now...

FWIW octane rating has no relationship to fuel "cleanliness." There is an integrated filter built into the fuel pump assembly in the tank. There's no schedule for replacing it. The S/M says to inspect/replace if the fuel pressure is below spec.

SCT has it. The "filter" is in the gas tank. Although it is replaceable with enough effort it is not part of the normal maintenance schedule.
