TSX Deal
TSX Deal
I was at Pohanka Acura in VA today to purchase a TSX. They didn't have one I wanted but one will be coming in a few weeks. The price he quoted me was $26,200 for a 5AT with no navi. Is that a good price? He also mentioned that since it wasn't on the lot he couldn't give me as good of a deal. Just wondering if anyone else has ran into this?
Thanks!
Thanks!
I just picked up my Satin Silver/Ebony 5AT, No NAV this afternoon. I waited for a week to get a car the dealer was scheduled to receive and paid $25,335 + tax etc. Seemed like a fair price to me.
"Fair prices" depend on where you live - and the availability of the car - try http://www.edmunds.com and look up their TMV for your local
No question that geographical location plays a role in what a fair price is. I've always thought that Edmund's is a little high in their estimation of what people in each area are paying but even so I think mine was a fair deal since edmunds says $26,443 as opposed to the $25,335 I paid.
Where did you get your car at? I've contact many dealers and can barely get before TMV for a CG/Ebony/Man/Nav anywhere in the midwest - the best deal i found was in Akron OH, but they didn't have the color combo i wanted. I guess if you are picky about what you want its harder to get a price you want?
I got my car at the Akron dealer, Park Acura. I dealt with the Internet Manager, Burke Davis. Nice guy, easy to deal with etc.
I know they did have a CG manual with nav but I don 't remember what color interior. You might ask him what they have coming in. They didn't have what I wanted when I went in but had one on the way that actually arrived 2 days earlier than expected.

I think that availability is a huge factor with these cars. I know for a fact that I could have picked up my TSX for $300 less if I was willing to take my second choice of color. It turned out that the color I wanted was very limited in my area (only 2 dealers had it in a 100 mile radius). I was looking for carbon grey/ ebony. That color is in such high demand around hear that dealers are not willing to do a dealer trade, so you have to deal with the dealership that has the car.
