Hi all

I own a 2005 TSX 5AT that my wife bought new in 2005. We have daily driven this car on and off for the past 19 years and passed it down to our daughter when she went to college.

I have performend almost all the work on this car myself and recently pergormed a full frint end rebuild including new UCAs, LCAs, end links, struts, and wheel bearings and all associated bushings. All were new factory Acura parts. In addition, I had the half-shafts rebuilt by a very highly regarded shop in my city.

Anyway, I've come across an issue that I absolutely cannot trace and its driving me insane.

When I hit a bump...even a small road imperfection...I'm getting a "clunk" from the passenger side shock tower. I loosened and re-torqued the upper strut tower and strut brace bolts to no avail.

Foes anyone have any ideas what it could be?

I have a similar issue. Ive been tempted to buy a “car engine noise detector” on amazon to pinpoint the source. However you find the source though, please report back. People always post their problems but rarely ever this solutions!
