I had my struts replaced in Nov 2016. Over the past week or so, I started to hear knocking noise near my strut tower when I go over roads that cause vibrations. Here are some pics comparing the driver side to the passenger side. The passenger side looks centered. The drivers side is not centered and the rubber ring is starting to get worn on 1 side. Any ideas? I took it to shop but they couldn't figure it out (they were time strapped) and said they may need new strut bearings. I'm thinking I can jack the car up and center the strut into the hole and tighten it..
