Trunk Tray and All weather Mats
#3
Depends on the person, i don't use my trunk that often so nay on the tray
I do live in a snowy area though so the floor mats have been the greatest investment so far...I don't know if they are worth $100 when you can get the same thing for like $20 at any auto store.
I personally bought the Acura ones for the perfect fit and finish, i spoil myself sometimes
I don't wanna hear any lip about getting them thrown in...i forgot about them when working out the deal

I got the tray thrown in but had to buy the mats.
Personally, I think that the carpet mats 'look' better, but the all-weather clean up soo much easier. I usually just vaccum them until they eventually get dusty looking, then I either take them out for the hose or use a moist cloth to wipe them down.
The reason I decided to get them is the quality of the carpet'd mats. After about a week of having the car, my heel was already leaving an ugly imprint in the carpet. Very cheap, imo.
I haven't *needed* the trunk tray, but I would rather have it knowing that if I did, I wouldn't be kicking my own ass about not having it.

I got the mats from a local guy that upgraded to the TL. They were only 3 months old. Great shape and only for $50.......they are so easy to clean and actually comfortable. I want to get the trunk tray also.

I bought some $20 Rubbermaid mats. They work alright, the fit isn't perfect on the driver's side. I tend to wear out mats yearly so I can't be bothered with expensive ones. I have an extra rear mat that I use in the trunk to protect it from my boots.

They are both ***so*** worth it if you give a hoot about the appearance of your TSX. And, since the TSX is noted for its interior, why wouldn't you give a hoot? Especially so if you have PWP, as I have, and the light colored carpet sucks up dirt like a sponge, even if you don't live in snow central. I didn't get them free. If you negotiate a good price, you can well afford the penny it costs to keep your interior neat.

Trunk tray: definitely worth it. I already had a couple of spills in it, now when I put stuff in I just don't have to worry.
Winter mats: worth it for me, they're a lot easier to clean and I knew I would completely wear out my original floor mats in 2 or 3 years. Now I just keep my winter mats all year round and will pass on the original mats to the next owner and impress them with how pristine even the floor mats look

Do they still negotiate whether the floor mats come with a car these days? I thought that crap was done years ago? I'd just tell the salesman..."Dude! shut up and put floor mats in it already! You wanna loose a $30k deal over a pair of $20 floor mats?"
Mine came iwth it along with the trunk tray. The trunk tray was cool up untill I put a sub box in the trunk. Now it's sitting in the garage.

the guy who sold me my car quit the day my car came into stock 3 months later. i told the salesman who took over the sale that the previous guy had promised me free all weather mats , even though he didnt. i had to pay for the trunk tray though. both are more worth it then even the car itself; thats how highly i praise them. my mats looked like that too and now look like brand new with just a quick vacum and a wipe.
