Trip computer
When I was buying the car the dealer told me that the TSX has a trip computer. I took his word for it because I had also read that in the brochure. Now I realise that only the navi has this and mine is a non-navi. Am I right? If so, then is this a feature that actually exists in the TSX, but can only be used with the navi system, or is it completely absent in the non-navis?

dunno about non navi
but the navigation has the trip computer that gives you MPG, miles till you are on E, lifetime stats etc etc, time traveled etc etc

i might be changing the topic here, but has anyone actually verify the numbers from the trip computer, especially the MPG number??!! is it accurate? i tried to calculate the MPG once after filling up the tank but the number is off by about 1MPG... not a big deal, but just wondering...

yeah - I'm talking about the MPG measurements etc. Just feel bummed that I was told the vehicle had this even through the dealer knew I was looking at the non-navi. That'll teach me to listen to those bozos instead of doing better research myself.

Does anyone know how the "reset on fill-up" option works on the NAV version of the trip computer? The guy that sold me mine (which hasn't come in yet) told me that if you set that option on the trip computer it will automatically store the stats and start a new log.
What he couldn't tell me was the trigger for this reset... is it Gas going into the tank up to a certain level? the opening of the gas tank? what?

However, I don't know what the trigger is as I have filled up every time so far.

I always check. On mine, the computer shows mileage that runs around 3 MPG high.
Also on mine, the instantaneous mileage display varies so much as to be useless.

There is no trip computer on the non-navi model. Here is an aftermarket trip computer that would work though:

Slightly Offtopic, but...one thing I did notice in the TLs is that the Trip Computer is not located on the Navi. You actually have to browse through the mini screen where the trip odometer is. That's where I found the Trip Computer on my gf's 05 TL. Don't know if this would be the same with the TSX, but its probably not since people have already said that the non-navi doesn't have a trip computer...which has come in handy for me.
