It's been said here that if you want a 3 series BMW, lease it, and the Acura, buy it. More telling may be the 50,000 mile US BMW bumper-to-bumper warranty, including brakes, clutch, maintenance, and even wiper blades: they already knew.

^^ That report is from UK and they are talking about their Accord which has been in the market for over 3 decades.

No, it's because the data are from an aftermarket warranty company based on what they pay out. So they only collect data after the manufacturer's warranty expires, i.e. after three years.

When did the current Accord go on sale in the UK? This might be based on the previous generation.

More useful reliability information coming.
