So I have a Nighthawk Black Pearl TSX & I'm planning to get the windows tinted. I've heard 35% would probably be best, since I also have the black interior. Also have heard that people usually just tint the door windows & back windshield, but not the front windshield for visibility purposes. Does anyone have thoughts? Thanks in advance

 

My thoughts are....to each his own taste. Its your car. Do what you want to do not what others are doing. Im sure what ever you choose will be great because its you car dude.

 

You probably need to check the laws in your state first. In FL (and probably most?) you can't tint but a small portion of the front windshield anyway, but yeah, it's probably not a good idea to tint that. When you park, you can always put a sunshade up easily enough, and that'll protect better than tint.

I still haven't gotten any tint, although it seems like a good idea. I park in the garage most of the time, so it's not as big of a deal for me.

You might search and read what some people have said about the window tint getting scratched and using moleskin. Also, I recall it being said to avoid metallic tint because of radio reception or something? I'd do some research before jumping in.

 

I have 5% on the back windows and 25% on the front two and i love it, the visibility is a little worse but not as bad as I first thought it would be. But as i have heard, a lot of states have strict laws on window tint.
