very minimal chance. the reflash for 05AT's just came out a few months ago... unless the person you bought it from reflashed it and then sold it soon after. There's always a chance that happened, but i'd say its pretty slim....

If you hit 6k and then feel a surge in power, than you have a stock car. If it's smooth for the entire powerband, than you might have the reflash.

I didn't feel (notice) the surge. Let me try it again later.

You are right. I just tried again, rpm is limited under 7300.
Maybe it's time to reflash. Do you guys think AT TSX deserved to reflash? I check http://hondata.com/reflash_tsx.html, why AT's torque is far below MT even it is reflashed?

I think when you reflash your ECU, Hondata puts a sticker on it when they send it back, so that could be a way to check. Can someone who has gotten the reflash verify this?

The AT's torque is less than the MT because the AT runs through a torque converter, which is not as efficient as a mechanical clutch

No the hondata sticker comes with it but its optional. (bought mine from a former tsx owner, he did a mt tranny swap.) They don't really tack it on.

Some old videos the first one is the most recent but I Haven't had a chance to get on the highway and show some more hondata. Ill try make a new one after this weekend after finals.

Gives you an idea how nice the vtec is.

Thanks man! what's the rpm limit for Stock ECU (05AT), 7100 or 7300? Hondata say it's 7300, but from other reviews it is 7100. Confused.

You can also get the serial number off of your ECU and find out directly from Hondata if it has been reflashed.

I've been on the fence about this, but with my tax refund, I think I'll drop the hammer, so to speak. Sounds like just too much fun.

I can't recall from other threads, but has there been any impact on mileage (+ or -) after a reflash?

There are some dynos of a tsx at 04 from toronto he had some heavy mileage over 150,000miles.
his dyno shows the engine up and down but still runs pretty strong.
