Speed!!

From the previous post about speeding tickets I thought I would add this......
Back in '99 was traveling down the highway and passed not one but 2 police cars doing well over 100mph! Trying to get the top speed out of the car, and did it at 281km/h.
The car...................a brand new 911 black 6spd
The highway...........Autobahn
The country.............Germany
Moral of the story ...Wanna go fast get a Porsche in Germany!

Cheers
T
ps actually reached 284km/h (174 mph) but that pic didn't turn out

Here

Well I have the pic on a disk but when I attach it to my post it will not accept it b/c it is too large. I don't know enough about computers to get it to an acceptable size to attach to a post....suggestions welcome!
I don't own a digital camera....

Well atlatr, send it to me at wiz@terminal-insanity.com and I will host it for you. They still only have attachment sizes at 1k due to bandwidth allocations. I can upload it to my site and host it for ya though. (Plus, I wanna see it)

1k attachments would be a luxury here! Maximum size allowed = 1 byte (not that I am complaining or anything). :P

Wow, you'd figure if the car *can* go that fast, the analog instrumentation *would* go a little further than that (it looks like the speedo is pinned at max).

Pretty cool. I came to this thread thinking it was gonna be about some crystal meth, but I guess this will work. Seriously, that is pretty bad-ass.

Argh...In Malaysia, the freeway's quality is as good as Autobahns (can you believe that?) One time I did try to catch up with a flock of supercars (my clients) with my MB S430, and only did about 140mph. And they easily left me in dust. (they = 1 x 911 Turbo, 2 x Ferrari F355, 1 X Corvette (1 of 3 in Malaysia))
On my way to Dallas a couple of summer back, a Porsche 911 Turbo easily over takes me while I am doing 130mph (rushing for a meeting). Damn those supercars :P, I will get my hands on one soon...(The Lambo Gallardo)

Hey, cool doing 170+mph huh. Kinda jealous here....
