I got a question. I just bought a used 2004 TSX. Now before this I didn't know much about them, but have been looking into different things. Up here in Canada, when you build a TSX online, you can chose a Aero Kit, which is the front, side, rear skirts and the spoiler. Is this the same as the A-Spec, or is A-Spec an American model, like the RSX Type S. Thanks

People are going to tell you to do a Search, but here's the quick version:
A-spec is a set of Acura parts that you can buy at the same time as your car, or afterwards. They include:
- suspension
- wheels
- er... not much else of value

I called my Acura dealer and Acura doesn't sell any A-spec parts in Canada. You have to order them form the US and get someone here to install it or do it yourself.

 

But in Canada they sell what is called the Aero Kit, which sounds like the same thing. You aswered my question, basically was just wondering if A-Spec was a set of parts or was it another model of TSX. Thanks. Might ask the dealer about it on friday when I get everything finalized.

for the 04's Acura isn't taking orders for full kits anymore - maybe for the 05's down the line.

Here is what the A-Spec is -

full body kit
suspension upgrade
rim upgrade
badging

IMO it makes the car look allot better, and the best thing is, the kit is covered under warranty.

Aero kit is basically the name they give to all the spoilers put together. It's nothing special.
