Saw this posted in a couple car forums and just wanted to share it here to show how stupid and dumb some people are these days!!!





This happened in Ontario Canada at a beach just recently. I'm not 100% sure what happened but rumors have it that the owner might have did or said something to another individual and this was a payback!!!

 

Oh btw if you think this civic is riced then I'm sorry but you're wrong cause it could and will blow ANY TSX off the road!!!

Shitty... but if he said something bad to someone he probably did deserve it, atleast he didn't get his ass kicked in or shot... he's probably lucky depending on who he was messing with

 

That's not bad at all, in K-Town LA if you say something wrong next day you won't be able to recognize your car.

I think my definition of rice may be different than others.

To me that above Civic is rice. Does a car being fast not = rice for some? eventhough it looks rice.

I always though rice always had to do with the way the car looked, not nessesararly how fast it is.

 

That civic isn't too bad except for the huge exhaust.

But that's pretty fucked up. People shouldn't do stupid shit like that. Though at least it can all be washed off, so no big deal.

 

Domn, I agree. Rice is about the look not performance. Even guys in the SCCA call the aluminum wings on the back of their race cars "rice wings".

 

Rice is a pontiac grand prix four door painted the most hideous shade of yellow, with a huge aluminum wing on the back, four steel wheels, and a big type-R sticker on the door. That's rice!

 

Rice is what most externally modified Civics are. It gives you the feeling that something is wrong with the car, either it doesn't fit with the car in general, it feels lame, or it's just too much. You feel slightly ashamed for the owner when you think that he has to drive around in that car.

It has nothing to do with performance.

Oh and by the way, I'd prefer having my car sandwiched and egged anytime, rather than having it keyed like it has already happenned, costing me 3 gran in repairs.

That Civic is rice...doesn't matter how fast it is...

CF Hood? Projectors? Shaved rear? JDM Vision corners? The whole JDM look is the new rice. People spend more time placing and admiring their Option2 sticker above their exhaust, more than spending it on performance.

 

I personally like the "feminine pads" stuck on the windows.

 

Ouch that sucks I agree for the most part however most of the time when a car is egged you'll see paint chips around where the shell shattered and chipped the paint.



You don't even know whats under the hood. Shouldn't you find out before you talk down about it?

Although I may agree that a car is ugly to me who cares. everything you think looks good is the ugliest thing in the world to hundreds of thousands of people. Rice is driving anything with a four cylinder to some people.

To me rice is caring more about what a persons car looks like then what they are like. Most people will look at someone's car with a big ugly spoiler, altezzas and stickers and immediately dismiss them as a moron. Try getting to know them for a change rather then dismissing them. Bet you'll find out other then your taste in looks you get along just find. Granted there will be idiots but I find people that talk down to them are the bigger assholes in most cases. The people will altezzas and metal spoilers are more accepting to others taste and opinions even if they don't like them, where those that rag on them are close minded about anything they don't like.

Oh..hahaha it doesn't. I just posted that just in case some smart ass decides to starts blabing about how who gives a fuck cause it's only a rcied civic. And so I just wanted to let those people know and should rethink their comments before making any stupid ones.
Plus, this guy probably did deserved it. But if someone needs to fuck another person up. Don't do it to their car cause it just shows how pussy they are. If anyone ever has a problem with me I'll rather them come up to me then fuck up my car.

Whoa?? Since when did Rhys get a GTO? Last I saw, he was running a specially built LanEvo.

 

I saw it on speed channel when they were doing the GTO test drive. Man that thing looked awesome!! He's using it this year.

 

Nice! Rhys is a talented driver so I can't wait to see how he'll do.

As I said, it could be fast, but it's still rice. Maybe you should get to know me too. My car was pretty rice...and still prolly looks ricey. Like I really give a hoot, personal taste right? Obviously, car culture has a larger group of people who care more about looks than performance. I just find it hilarious people can't call it what it is and get majorly offended by "rice." Of course no one wants to be grouped with the overly excessive, but the thinking is all the same...looks, looks, looks.

And like earlier posts have said, it's not that bad. In high school, one of my friend's parents' car had a bowling ball thrown through the rear window because of stuff happening at school. This guy got off easy.

 

yup, i've seen broken windows, knife stabs in the hood, slashed tires, etc before...this aint bad, just wash it off
