so much tech, but no windshield washer fluid indicator

Does anyone else find it annoying that our TSX lacks a low windshield washer fluid indicator? Seems like such a simple option which most cars have.
I agree. Un-useful real estate IMHO.
OP, It looks like you are already Tech'ed out with your iphone 3g hooked up, and speaker upgrades. Add a DVD player and Nav2Go module so you can play DVD's on your Navi, that should satisfy your Tech needs :p

I just can't believe the TSX doesnt have a low windshield washer fluid indicator in the US. In Canada, the message comes on the MID. In the winter, you need this!
As to tire pressure sensors, I believe they appeared on 2007 models.

I would rather have the blind-spot monitoring that the volvo has than low windshield fluid indicator. During the nasty weather days I would make sure I filled it each day. I also kept extra washer fluid in the trunk.
I can see why Canada requires this.
Ha! You guys who don't think this would be useful live in states with minimal amounts of snow/ice/salt/road grime. If the conditions are bad and "it doesn't squirt," it can be really bad news. On days with lots of salty splash back here in Colorado I see people pulled over on the side of the road doing anything they can to clear their windshields; it's very dangerous.

I thought all TSX's had it. Only Canadian '04s have heated mirrors too
It makes no sense for US models to have no light. All northern states get as much snow (if not more) than where I live in Canada. My light comes on every month or so and I do find it handy.

You forget that America is in the dark ages when talking about proactive automotive safety laws. Canada requires daytime running lights, america doesn't. Even the US laws regarding headlights are really old and don't really deal with HID's and stuff...
My 07 TSX has heated mirrors for the side mirrors.
I was wondering why cars with daylight running lights do not have the tail lights on also. Would be nice. I would rather put my headlights on so my tail lights are on.

I can see how having a doodad to monitor your washer fluid low level would be nice. But this is probably one of the easiest fluids to check and refill in your garage. If you're using it a lot during winter ... I'd take a wild (but safe) bet that you're probably stocking it in your garage ... and you're probably refilling it regularly ... so why can't you just check it weekly along with your oil?
Maybe this is why BMW did away with the oil level dipstick.
We have idiot lights to tell us when we're low o gas, we have idiot lights to tell us to check our tire pressure, we have idiot lights to tell us our parking brake is set (yes, I know it has a dual function, but I'm not letting that spoil my joke),... with all this profusion of idiot lights, car companies are treating us like, well, idiots. With owning a car comes some responsibilities, and I've never felt that checking fluids and tire pressure was one a gimmicky car could relieve me of. You want bells and whistles? Get a Japanese "smart toilet."

Sorry, I meant that only Canadian 04's have heated mirrors while American 04's don't. 05+ had heated mirrors for both countries.
I took out the fuse for my DRL's. They make the car look ugly with their yellow light. I drive with my low beams on so i can still be seen by others.
DavidSpalding has a good point. I like how Toyota's with backup cameras all say "check surroundings for safety". Did they expect drivers to stare into the backup cam when in reverse? Plus, every time you put it into drive, the GPS gives you a paragraph to read telling you to drive safely. But as we all know, this world does have a lot of stupid people.

(I don't have a NAVI because I refuse to "click 'OK'" every time I want to drive my car, as if it's an unlicensed Windows computer.)
(Yes, I know you can hack some of the DVDs. Not all of them, I've heard; a friend has a Civic Hybrid and he cant find any DIY to hack the DVD code.)
