So long TSX

I have been one of the original members here on AZ back in 2003. I joined the day I got my 2004 TSX in Dec. 2003 and this past weekend I traded her in for a used 2007 RDX with Tech. It was sad to see her go, but I had to move on.

I will miss you 2004 TSX.

Congrats on your new car! Well, as long as you kept it within the Acura family

I'm curious if you just wanted something newer and different, or if the cute-ute is satisfying a new and different need.

We need more space for a growing family and for SH-AWD. I was also looking at a used 2005-2008 Acura RL and 2008 Infiniti M35x, but neither had rear seats that folded down. I was also looking at a 2007-2008 Infiniti G35x, but the rear seat wasn't that much bigger than the TSX.

So, I test drove the RDX again and I love the utility, turbo, and the SH-AWD.

Thanks man! Well, the wife loves Acura. She loved driving the TSX and the fuel economy. I wanted to go to Infiniti, but she didn't want to yet. It was between the RL and RDX and we took the RDX cause it better served the needs of a growing family.

Congrats. I did the same, but got a 2011 RDX back in September. We needed one vehicle that has more utility than a sedan can provide.

Sometimes I miss my TSX, too, but the RDX sure is fun to drive!

Congrats on the new RDX!! The RDX is taller version of the TSX with more power and better 360 degree visibility. The upgraded tech on the RDX is nice compared to the 04 TSX.

Are you going to do the Hondata reflash? More power and a slight increase in mpgs.

I want to do the Hondata reflash, but I don't know where I can go to do that in the Chicagoland area. How much increase in MPG btw?

Hey LuvMyTSX I think we switched color choices. Remember I had the carbon grey TSX and you had a silver TSX, now you have carbon grey or is it a black RDX and I have a silver RDX.

I haven't tried the RDX yet in the snow. How is it?

I was about 18.5 winter to 19.2 summer combined on my mpgs with about 60-70% hwy driving before the reflash.

I now get around 19.2-19.5 winter and 20.3-20.8 summer combined with same mix of hwy/city.

One extra mpg doesn't sound like much but I figure one extra mpg will save me about $100 buck every 10,000 miles. I already have 15,000 miles on my reflash. I will break even in about 18-24 months and be saving money after that.
