I put expensive stuff in the trunk, unless I'm about to park the car somewhere with people passing by...I don't want them to peer in, see it, and then come back later

Nope nothing solved yet I moved on got a nikon d80 don't carry it around as much, but when i do its attached to my hip.

laptop i could live without it i barely used it anyway it was giving me the blue screen of death when it over heated.

 

if i have anything valuable in my car (often; laptop, $2300 worth of camera equipment) it's in the trunk. Actually. anything at all goes in my trunk. I've also disabled the automatic unlock in the glovebox and make sure that I use my key to manually lock the trunk release as well.

It happened three times. First time, it was raining, they broke rear window and took my umbrella. Second time, I didn't have something valuable inside of my car but they still broke my rear window again. Third time, I got my Avic N2 Stolen(3month old) I paid 2500$ buying and mounting it and my insurence paid 3600$ for repairing my car and my insurence rate went up and never goes down until now. I'm sorry to hear that. I know how you feel right now. That sucks!!! I was thinking about buying a small cam to install inside of my car to get those mother xxxers at that time.
