Ha, I see there is a continued need for sightings threads. There seem to be at least 2-3 new ones a week, so I figure mine (this) is almost certainly not the first.

Saw my first TSX since I started this thread. CG on 101S at 9 AM between Hillsdale and 92. Youngish male in a baseball cap with a similar-age young lady in the front seat. I changed lanes for a closer look, but there wasn't much else going on, plus traffic was restrictive (it was stop-and-go morning rush). Fess up!

I saw 2 in one day outside of dealership. There are A LOT of TSXs around here. I'm also beginning to see some of the same ones..

On a side note, someone from my High School has a TSX. Not sure who it is.

I see one every two days too... but then again that's considering:

1. I commute through downtown LA everyday
2. I live in an area that is 75% Asian

Toronto is nowhere near Richmond B.C. , and is definately not second. If anything Vancouver (although maybe Markham) is second, in Canada anyways.

Did you know that Toronto is the most multiculteral city in the world?

I just realized something about "Asianess", but in terms of foreign versus domestic brands of cars. Asian and European makes together are in the clear majority--at least here at work, where on any given work day thousands of cars are in the lots or garages.

I don't know how it compares to LA or Toronto, but the Greater San Francisco Bay Area is also culturally and ethnically diverse.

I second Vancouver as higher in "asianess" than Toronto. I once took a road trip to Toronto though with the stated purpose of "to find good dim sum." It's a cool city.

Don't know about Richmond, BC.. but I lived in Richmond, VA and it's pretty low on the Asian scale. I'll bet its higher on the redneck scale though.

On sightings... still waiting for that Arctic Blue TSX. Where are you???

Actually, most of my friends are asain now that I think about it. We have a lot of foreign industry. During the 80s and 90s, we had a lot of in flow of Asains because of Honda, Toyota and Nissan all have their headquaters based here or another city over.

Is Torrance well known at all? It's just a small suburb of Los Angeles.

I saw yet another TSX They're becoming popular...

Naptown reporting....

Are there any other users here from Indy? I just saw what I believe to be the same NBP heading north on Meridian that I saw a few weeks ago. I have still yet to see any other ones, aside from a MSM a month and a half ago anywhere around town.

Naptown out.

You should go to Rutgers when you graduate if you want familiar surroundings. Most of my college friends (and my fiance, who I met there) are Asian. I heard that it was named the 'most diverse' university in the US... surprised to hear that it passed Berkeley, though NJ is a diverse state.

Not on the east coast.

p.s. damn it... almost just lost power. It's really windy outside, and I'm far from the hurricane's center

Hm, well, last year, I met a cute girl from Torrance. So I'll sure remember it for a while.

When I was in school, I met people from other nearby towns (Palos Verdes, LA, Burbank, Orange...). Plus, I have a friend who went to Pomona, so I used to hear a good bit about the greater LA area.

Well, now that I said I've never heard of it, I've heard/seen it mentioned twice in the past week. 1st some dude in Boogie Nights was from there, and then I read this article by someone from UCLA-Harborview Medical Center in Torrance.

Funny how that seems to happen.

I saw an MSM TSX this morning. It was merging onto 101 North at Whipple in Redwood City. It was either a guy or a very ugly female. (Ya never know sometimes! Sometimes you see what appears to be a guy--wearing guy's pants, shirt, and shoes...and sporting some form of peach fuzz--but then you notice that those hips are not part of a male.) He looked like he was shifting gears, so it must have been a 6MT. (I didn't see his hips.)

I like MSM and would have also considered it if it had an Ebony interior.

I also saw a silver Audi A6 2.something that was struggling to accellerate from Holly onto 101 North. It moved, for sure, but the exhaust and the smell was pitiful. Is that normal for a VW Audi?

I saw a black one going south on Rt. 95/128 this morning on my way to work near Needham, MA, I tried to pass them, but my exit came up and had to go. That's the first one I've seen on a highway! All the other one i've seen on surface streets.

The last 5 TSX's I've seen (2 Black, 1 Red, 1 IBP and 1 White) have all been driven by ladies in their 50's.

So there I am looking at another TSX in coming towards me in the distance. As I get ready to give the thumbs up expecting another a-tsx member to do the same, some stuck up lady gives does'nt even glance in my direction Its happened 5 times in a row

What's going on?

Ok i seen a CG one with chrome rims and dark tint in edgewater mall in NJ.
Rims looked like 20" or he had 18s with a drop. and whomever it was had to be young and on an internet blind date.
The dude was young and he was meeting some chick there that walked up to the car then he parked it and met up with her.
Lemme find out people are using acura-tsx.com as a hook up spot!!!
AKay
PS i was on a date with this chick wit a g35

Well, at last another sighting for me. (First one -- long time ago, didn't post it.)

Sunday, Oct. 5, around 4 P.M., Montclair NJ, right in front of my Carbon Gray, on Grove St., both of us turned onto Mt. Hebron Rd -- gorgeous Milano Red TSX, like totally gorgeous. I tried pulling alongside but there was no room to do it without being obnoxious. I think you saw me wave, and you honked back as you turned off!

Great Milano Red TSX you got!

I've seen more TSX's on the road this past 2 weeks than I have since I got mine in April. (Chicago burbs)
I guess we're not "special" anymore.

Sightings are incredibly spotty here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'll go a week or more before I see another one. On the other hand, Yugo and Daihatsu sightings are much rarer, if that's any comfort.

Thats just plain rude. I can assure you I would have waved, honked and given the thumbs up.

Thats what bothers me about these other women driving the TSX. I don't think they appreciate the fine peice of machinery under their control.

But oh well.

I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that traffic was heavy & they just didn't notice another TSX. Although I have an internal radar and always notice them!

I saw an Artic Blue TSX today after work. The guy was driving around and around the work complex, conference center, gym, car park garage. I guess he was giving rides to co-workers.

I didn't honk. That's a beautiful blue!

OK, this morning was the last straw. I hurried to catch up to another CG and honked & looked right at the guy and he ignored me. I know he saw me. Then he was in back of me at a light and was looking off into space. WTF. I'd be staring at another TSX.

Well, I give up. I don't know whether to do one of these or one of these or just kill myself.

Since he didn't recognize you, perhaps he figured that you had mistaken _his_ identity rather than you trying to greet him because of the car's identity. Man vs. machine.

Some people are a little restrained or shy.

Plus, the TSX has some honk, doesn't it? Some people might perceive honking in traffic as a sign of agression if it's not for some alarm or safety-related reason, even though the intent is friendly.

Yea, you're probably right. I guess not everyone is an enthusiast. I tried to slow down at one point and he went even slower as to not catch up to me.
I acutally thought it was Jason at first, he looked similar. But it obviously wasn't.

So where are all the TSX'es in LA (more importantly, where are the fellow Acura-TSX.com'ers)? I haven't seen too many lately, and of the ones I've seen, only one acknowledged me.

Saw another CG a couple of days ago on Morrisville Parkway. I think it was the same one I had seen while waiting for mine to come in. I hadn't seen another CG on the road since I took mine home.

Also saw a PWP on Old Leadmine Rd. in Raleigh a week or so ago.
