The sightings thread

Post your sightings. If you were spotted, fess up!

When you see enough TSXs that sightings don't interest you anymore, I guess post when you see something notable (TSX with nice mods, funny custom plate, first time you've seen a color on the road, cute guy/girl driving, etc.).

Saw a TSX on the road for the first time since I picked mine up on 8/8/03 (I'd seen a couple before then). It was a SSM northbound on 101 between the Embarcadero and Willow exits (before I peeled off to exit on Marsh), around 4:30 PM on 9/3/03. Guy with dark spiky hair and shades driving with his lights on.

It's been maybe a months since I saw a bright red TSX on Alma in Palo Alto and about two months since I saw either an MSM or SSM on Woodside Rd in Redwood City. That's as recent as it gets for me on the mid-Peninsula. I thought for sure I would see a TSX at the new Ikea in East Palo Alto, with all the backed-up traffic and crowded parking areas. Nothing.

Nice...you people are right in my neighborhood. I lived in Menlo Park off of Willow last year, and now I live off of the 280 in Redwood City. I take the 280 from Redwood City down to Cupertino every day, but I have yet to see a single tsx And, I was at the EPA Ikea 3 times last week (what a mess...but I just moved, so I needed furniture), and didn't see one there either. It would be nice to see one once in a while...

Naptown reporting....

I haven't seen another TSX around here since I got mine...that's three weeks.

I saw a Satin Silver Metallic about a month and a half ago, but nothing since.

Naptown out.

I've had a couple sightings, I was up in Cleveland a few weeks ago and saw a black TSX in Northfield.

Back here in Cincy I saw a blue one at the Florence Cinemas (across the river in KY), then spotted a white TSX driving through the parking lot at the Meijer in Florence. I must say the white looks very cool.

These were all spotted over the course of the last month or so. TSX seems like its rare around here (for now at least).

I've seen 2 on campus here at Ole Miss so far. One blue with ~35% tint, the other silver. I have the most mods so far with my 20% tint and debadge job.

I did cruise by the Acura dealer in Redwood City a couple of times just to catch a glance of what a TSX looks like. They've had an SSM model in their showroom for a while. SSM looks very nice, but I really prefer the Carbon Grey/Ebony.

I commute across Redwood City on 101 every day--about 7 miles.

Oh, and there is a black TSX here at work, but I've seen it only twice, both times in or near one of the parking garages.

One night I saw two black ones right near my gym. Another day there was another silver one parked near mine at the grocery store. I haven't seen any others in weeks... except a Euro-Accord I saw in Istanbul.

I must live in the most highly TSX concentrated area in the country. I saw 3 today not including mine - one MSM in my apt parking lot (first appeared 2 days ago, temp tags), one white one on 11th St in Philly, and another red one on Broad St. Anyone here??

Ah, c'mon, that doesn't count!

I'm surprised that a dealership has that many, though. Around here (SF Bay Area), dealerships would tell me they'd have at most a handful at a time, and many would be pre-sold.

I passed a SSM last night on University in Palo Alto going the opposite direction (east) around 7pm. That would be the first sighting for me for nearly 2 months!

I wonder if that's the same one I saw on Woodside Rd in Redwood City a while back...

It took awhile, but they are starting to show up more often (still more rare than say, a Saab)

I see two on my commute on the Garden State Parkway every so often btwn exits 130 and 160- one black, one white- both driven by women.

Saw a MSM at the Paramus Town Centre shopping plaza on Route 17 last weekend.

And, just yesterday, I saw the first TSX in my neighborhood other than mine- black, driven by some guy who was checking out my TSX at the same time (didn't get a good look, he had tints.)

So that's the report for North Jersey...

New Jersery must be one of the top states for the TSX

This wonderful place is Ripon. anyways, i'm sure there won't be another TSX in ripon for a while. As for sightings in the 209... i saw the second day i picked up my TSX on a stop light. I talked to the owner untill the light turned green. The second sighting happened today, about a month later.

Oh, no sooner than I had posted my message about having more Elvis and Saddamn sightings, I saw two TSX's this morning--a first for me.

One was a CG driven by an idiot swerving fast in and out of traffic being chased by a Saab. The idiot in the fast lane suddenly braked upon seeing the Highway Patrol and caused other cars behind him to suddenly brake. This was on southbound 101 between Marsh and Willow Roads. The driver was a very short male with closely cropped dark-hair. Maybe he didn't have his driver's license or parent's permission or knowledge? We need a law against morons, idiots, and imbeciles from driving.

The second was an MSM in the parking lot of Home Depot in East Palo Alto, across from Ikea. This was an older lady with silver/white hair driving very slowly.

There you have it in one morning: The very broad appeal of the TSX!

I spotted Elvis on the turnpike in an Arctic Blue Suede (custom?)

No Saddam sightings though- what would he drive anyway, aside from the tints?

Besides heavy tints, how about the trunk of some car...or in drag. There's no telling if Saddamn has access to his Grecian Formula or Just for Men tints. Yes, he may be the latest Burkha Babe.

I've seen THREE CG's (could have all been the same car) and one PWP since I've gotten to Wisconsin. Still a pretty rare car, though.

Hadn't seen any in weeks, then saw two this past week. Milano Red entering the Pasadena fwy on Hill Street (LA Chinatown) and Artic Blue on 1st or 2nd Street, turning left on Alameda.

All I need is a PWP sighting to be "all American."

For all the TSX's in LA, holler! I know you're out there.
