I was recently invovled in a car accident that destroyed that factory skirt underneath the door. Its not the spoiler but jsut what is there straight from the factory. I was wondering if the body side spoilers replace that part...the part number is 08F04-SEC-240. I want to know to see if the collision center can replace it with the spoiler instead of the stock part. That way all I have to get is the front and back spoilers to complete the kit. Please let me know.

spatel, if the side skirt (the plastic) is the only thing that is damaged you should be able to replace it with the OEM body kit side skirt. When installing the OEM kit you remove the factor side sills and put the body kit side sills on (and reuse the clips). I am sure you will want get the front and rear body kit pieces as well ( I think it will look kinda funny without them )

 

the sides from the body kit will replace the stock panel. however, if you get the entire kit, you don't have to reuse the clips if you don't want to (it comes with new ones).

Well it happened. My wife just got home from the bank and scrapped the drivers side side spoiler on the curb. Does anyone have a CG drivers side side spoiler that they are willing to part with? I am wanting just the OEM factory spoiler. Thanks for the replies.

 

swm, i have a set of CG 'side spoilers' left over since i had an OEM body kit.
