Scratch on chrome window frame?

This morning I took the car into the detail bay and gave it wash myself since the detail guy was not on yet.
After everything is done,I drove out and parked. Then I noticed that on my driver side window frame, the chrome stripe there, has some minor scratches?
I have no idea how they come from and don't have a clue how to remove them, possible?
Thanx guys!

Damn...that sucks man. You just got your ride too. The first scratch is always the worst. I don't know how to remove scratches in the chrome, hopefully someone will.

If you can't get the scratch out that piece is gonna cost you $$$. Replacing the trim is pretty easy though . Good luck!

Dang... sorry to hear that. I'm still sort of crying over my first tiny ding i've gotten. It still hurts to look at. It's gotten a little better... but it still hurts to even think about.

Maybe you could try to buff it out with a little chrome polish?

And uh... are you saying that you went to the detail guy's shop and since the detailer wasn't there yet, you went ahead and detailed your car yourself using his equipment?

One more thing, not to hijack your thread... but nice username. How'd you come up with that one?

no no no,I am not using his equipment, just the dealership has the detail bay,I just did it myself since he's not there yet.I don't wanna bother them too much...
This name?haha,I don't think it's cool at all.I have been using this name cross several forums that I have registered for a while. The initial reason to this was that it's so difficult to register a name that's not been used at one time on a forum,I thought for a while and then decided to go with some odd names with simple spelling. So,I came acroos this one.........kinda dumb actually.

Don't use chrome polish. Because the window trim is actually chromed plastic.
