ok, so for some of the new people around here (so many new faces! i love to see it!).....and for some of you wondering why i have been nominated for "BEST CRASH" by my pw brother junkster, here is the thread.

so, after all of this, my insurance company spending $26,000 to fix my car, a lifetime of pain, and a lifetime of horrible memorys......i sold my car last friday night. Oddly enough, i sold it at 6:00pm (same time as the wreck), and on the 6 month annaversery (<-------spelling?) of that horrible night!

i thought that once i got my car back, everything would go back to normal........WRONG! everytime i looked at my car, i almost cried. it just wasnt the same to me, she was raped and there is nothing i can do! i felt helpless and disgusted.

i had no choice, i had to let her go before the carfax report came in, and i lost all of my equity.

i was debating between a few cars, the STI, a red evo 8, and a v6 accord. in the end, i chose the accord.

a white, 2004, v6, 2 door, 6 speed, navi accord. i will be posting pics as soon as i have the mods that i have order on it.

i have ordered an AEM V2 CAI, Ground control coilovers, avelectronics dvd system, and a few other goodys to be named later!

guys, it was fun while it lasted, and i will ALWAYS have love for the euro-r and my extened family here at a-tsx, but you wont see me as often as you ahve lately....junkster, im sorry my big pw brother.....i thank you all for your support during my wreck, and listening to my stupuid ass rant and rave about nothing at all. it was fun!

so, i guess, good bye. :'(

p.s.: i still have a fresh 3 foot hole dug for the bastard that ended my baby's life! and now i have another new gun to chase after him with!

So you sold the car in a private sale? May I ask how much you got for it?

I understand your decision. I'd have sold it, too. Good luck with your new car!

I hope you told the person that bought it what happened to the car they were buying. Personally, I think it's wrong not to disclose something like that. Not to mention that there may be legal implications for not disclosing.

thank you all for your condolences.

as far as the tsx, i traded it into the honda dealer. they gave me $24,000 for it, and they knew about the wreck. so all is good.

i owed just under 21k for the tsx, so i had some decent equity that i used as the down payment for the accord. the sticker price on the accord was $32,000 but i only paid $26,000 for it.

I LOVE THE V6!!! the ONLY problem with the tsx is the lack of horses, all it needs is the v6 motor and the tsx would be the best car under 35k!!!!!!!!

the accord is quick, i am nose to nose with my brothers 2004 SRT-4, and can beat 2003 srt-4's!! i tried to race an m3 bmw last night, but got my ass handed to me like a mouse dealing with the extermanator! haha

but, all in all, i am very pleased with my choice.

btw, the reason i didnt get the red evo 8 is cause of the interior....just a faster CIVIC to me! been there, done that!

i bought it on friday night at 6pm, drove out to a lake about 150 miles away here in phx........long story..........sunday morning i had 600 miles on it.

my brother was just waiting for this! raced him, then his friend who has an 03 srt.

the m3 was last night on my way home.

also, i had a gsr and a civic dx try to race me, bye bye!

also, a v6 maxima, bye bye.

so far, im 4-6......

I don't know what the hell you were doing driving a TSX in the first place. And I still think you got the wrong car. You should have got the Evo, or better yet an STi, or any car that does nothing but go straight really fast

So long 21. Don't be a stranger. I don't blame you for trading in your TSX. No matter how well they repaired it, the car would never be the same. With the Accord v6 you might have found a better fit. It certainly sounds like you have.
Have fun,
Bama.

Sorry to hear about it, but I'm glad to hear that the trade-in went well. Why did you have to beat Carfax though if the dealer knew about the wreck??

Great trade-in value - I hope you have better luck with your new wheels.

JCG, who is considering doing the same thing but not for a lowly Accord (lol j/k)

:ducks:
