Refueling

I have noticed that when I am filling my gas tank up, I can see the suspension on the car drop a little every 20sec or so as the tank gets fuller. Has anyone else noticed this? I have never experienced it with any other car.
My wife was travelling in the back the other day and complained that the ride was rougher in the back compared to the front.
These two things together make me wonder if I have something up with the rear suspension.

Gas is heavy. A full tank weighs 140lbs so it's bound to lower your car.

Yes gas is somewhat heavy, but I think the fact his car is noticibly dropping every 20sec (or so) during fueling seems a little excessive to me.

gas is lighter than water ...so 17 gal times by 5 pounds per gallon equals to 80 lbs on your suspension...that is not that much of a difference...

actually gas weighs about 5.8 to 6.5 lbs a gallon depending on tempature. At 72 degrees F gas weighs about 6.3 lbs making the difference over 105lbs which def makes a difference in the hieght of the car...

ask anyone with a lowered car

The difference in the rear ride hieght on a TSX is diffenitley noticable between full and empty. I have Eibach Pro-kits w/koni yellows, and I think the car sits perfect with a full tank of gas. When empty, I think the rear sits too high! It's wierd because I've never noticed this on any of my other cars. I can lower the rear spring perch a notch on the koni's, but I'm concerned that then the rear would look too low with a full tank of gas... I guess it wouldn'y be too bad... it would almost have that BMW 3 series look (rear lower than front).

I noticed the exact same thing a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't sure if it was an isolated incident. If you check it out let us know what you find out.
