Red Plasti-Dip Grille

So I haven't seen anyone use any other color other than black to plasti-dip their car. Since I have a Milano Red TSXy and there was a black blotch on the grille I couldn't get rid of so I decided to try and plast-dip it in red. I'm actually in the process right now at work and the color is actually a lot brighter than I anticipated, which is good because MR is pretty bright itself. Am I the only MR owner who has done this in this forum?

It looks pretty good in the picture too. I am sure you may get more opinions on the paint, but at the end of the day, you will have to decide if it looks good.

the pictures make it look nice.
I still prefer keeping my MR tsx as is
Whatever happened with the dent on your trunk-did you get any satisfaction from the dealer.

I dipped it in red because the chrome was discolored and I don't have any money to replace it yet so this is just a temporary and cheap alternative. Haha. As far as the dent, I just covered it with a sticker because the dealership's service department are incompetent and don't even know how to install a front bumper correctly nor do they know how to follow the simplest of requests. I just didn't have the civility in me to continue to deal with such ignorance and blatant display of horrible customer service. Haha.

Nice work, It sounded strange when you said it but that is TSXy, Its hard to find a color match with the Milano. I just bought my Red TSX and trying to find stuff to do with it..

Looks Sick!!

If the chrome piece is the only problem, I am almost positive that you can buy the chrome piece by itself from the dealership.

didn't think i'd like it either, but it actually doesn't look too bad

how long does the plastidip last for? I was considering doing it for my grill as well along with the side chrome trim. How does it hold up to the elements? (rain, rocks, dust, etc)

@ DELIRIOUS_09 : So far so good! No chips as of yet and I commute 40 miles plus everyday.

@ ahbaklikeu : Yes, I took out the whole grill, took the plastic chrome off grille molding and sprayed individually.

Good looking out on the positive feedback!

Looks pretty good. Im surprised at how it matches the red paint, at least it looks like it does in the pictures. Can't go wrong with plasti dip.

It does look really good! Is it as smooth looking up close as it looks in the pics?

Did you submerge it completely or does it paint on?

I'd like to plasti dip my whole front bumber. It's such a mess with rock hits and road rash.
