rear-ended! help!

Hi, I just bought my 06 nbp tsx few months ago and some idiot rear ended me last week! Insurance still hasn't spoken to her yet so I'm waiting for them to finish their "investigation."
Anyway, I have Mercury insurance and live in Orange County, CA. They recommended that I go to OC Collision center in Santa Ana. Anybody know a good place to get repairs at?
Any advice on ANYTHING?

Thanks!

Lucky me, no chance of you rear ending me.

To the thread starter. Why not take it to an Acura dealership?

I went to Union Auto body for minor rear bumper work. Very reasonable price and decent work. However, they are in Covina, which might be a little far for you.

How bad was the damage? Just some scratches...dents...or major damage? Is it just the bumper, or was something else affected, such as your trunk? More information = more answers.

With a new car, I'd insist on taking it to an acura dealer since the other person is at fault and should be paying for the bill. Otherwise, do alot of research and go to a shop that has alot of recommendations. You don't want to take it to a shop that cuts corners so that insurance companies will like them. Maybe they do shoddy painting....etc... Anyway, I don't know any shops down that far...

Take it to the dealer. The accident wasn't your fault, and you deserve to have your car fixed right. Dealer will give a warranty and stand behind their work.

i was told that acura dealers don't do collision repair!

the damage doesn't look too bad, but i think it'll cost around 3-5 grand to fix! the right exhaust, bumper, the ? chord that suspension attaches to is a little bent, the right side of trunk got pushed up/bent a bit... hmm that's the gist of it i think...

thanks!
