Quick qusetion about the 05TSX.

Hello, guys Iam the new member to the Acurazine.com who just have
registered^^

I have a question about 05TSX...
Is there any acura dealer around LA area that still has the NEW
05 TSX in their lot? just wondering because I am planning to
purchase a TSX in about a week and the reason why I want 05 over 06 is because I think 05s could be cheaper now and I don't find much difference
between 05 and 06 so I am rather trying to get the one with lower price tag.

I think it'll be great if I could purchase 05TSX AT w/o nav SatinSilverMetallic
The price Iam aiming for is about $25500 at the maximum. My hope is 05TSX
to be around 23000~24000 though.

I hope I can find one soon...because I love TSX

I could be wrong but I would think it would be very hard for you to find a new 2005 for that low of a price out the door, sales tax included.

Call some dealerships and ask, I don't think that price in completely unattainable

Well, first off theres quite a few pretty crucial differences between the '05 and '06 model versions..... (bluetooth, aux, fogs, power, etc)

I really doubt theres any dealers selling '05s right now, and if they are, its probably a test vehicle noone wants. The '06s are trickling in, and most buyers are getting them at 500 over invoice or less with accessories included.

At 23-24k i would be looking at used '05's........ 25,500 for a brand new tsx will be quite difficult..... especially since your in the california tax zone where taxes are insane!

contact the internet sales manager of your local acura dealer. they might be able to help you out. and they can search other dealer inventories if they're in the same sales network. i did last time at a honda dealer trying to locate an S2000

I doubt that the dealers will have any 05's left. Dealers usually start emptying out the inventory in october and are usually sold out well before december rolls around as they dont get anymore in. Especially the TSX selling as well as it is. I highly doubt they'll have one. But if that's what you want... worth a shot.

Also... the price that you are asking i dont think is attainable. A dealer is not going to just give a car away with no profit at all. You are asking to give oyu a car that's selling well for below their cost. I just dont think it's possible unless they truly want to get rid of it.

Amazingly enough the dealership I'm buying my new 06 from has a new 04 in stock! 1 of these days I'm gonna have to ask them how it is that this car is still available for sale.

Are you serious? I would've figured they'd want to get rid of it quick. Otherwise... that car will be depreciating in value as soon as the 05's hit the lot. Hmm.. are you sure it's got 0 miles on it?

I have no clue what the deal is with the car I was at the dealership 1 day and was checking it out cuz it was the only carbon grey TSX on the lot. And a salesman came up to help me to see if I needed any help. And I told him I was just nosing around and that I had already purchased my own 06 carbon grey and it was to be delivered in a couple of weeks. And he then told me oh ok, thats not an 06 that's an 04. And I said Wow! It's in really nice condition for being an 04. And he said thats because it's a new 04

Next time I go up there I might take another look at it and see how many miles it has on it and what their selling it for.
